that would be so amazing. but how likely is it? depending on your positioning in the stadium, it may not work too well.

having said that, i would be the happiest person in the world if it were the case... imagine Saturate visuals in 3D, i cried like a baby when they played that last tour, and 50% was probably down to the amazing work on the visuals.

seeing that in 3D would probably break me.

I don't know... I'm going to be unpopular for a bit and say I don't know about a Chems show goin all Avatar with 3-D effects. I can't say I would be 100% opposed to the idea as it would be very cool to look at. But The Chems have always had great visuals to accompany their music, and bottom line is the music has carries the show and the visuals compliment the music. If a song is enough to bring a man to tears, that right there says it all.

But hey, I'm not picky - I'm open to whatever possibilities the Chems have up their sleeves as far as a live set. As long as I get to hear their music at blood curdling levels, it's all good.

^^ Fair point, you would want to be careful that the visuals don't start to outshine the music (i know not possible)

it would be a first though, and tom and ed are def globetrotters.

Very cool look to the new website.... I accidentally opened the main page twice, and was treated with a synth duel. Actually sounded pretty awesome :D

Man, 3 new live dates! This is getting really exciting. :) I so wish I could attend one of those Roundhouse shows, but unfortunately, I don't think I can pull it off. :( As a firm believer in Chemicalicathisom, I must pilgrimage to the holy land, once in my lifetime.

Also, I hate speculating when it comes to the chemical brothers, mostly because I'm always dead wrong. But with this noise about something new to the live sets. What if they played two sets? They certainly have a long catalogue to choose from. Maybe play a different album in full at each date.... I dont know, just throwing it out there.

yeah, it is all just speculation, we have to be careful not to let our minds go too crazy.

I'm pretty sure they will headline Glastonbury 2010, for the 40 years.

@dj_sirbadgelot Saturate visuals are crap man, it doesn't suit at all the song.

Are you talking about this : http://www.youtube.c...feature=related

Believe visuals are a way better in my opinion and would be awesome in 3D =)

i wrote a massive paragraph on why the visuals to saturate are perfect, and possibly the most beautiful thing i have ever seen syncronised to music in my life.

then i deleted it, cause no one cares what it means to me, it's what it means to them.

we are all different, i love the saturate visuals, you love the believe visuals.

although, i certainly object to you calling the saturate visuals "crap".

@maboul59, Well hasn't U2 already been confirmed as main headliner? Chems could be the dance headliner this year. What stage though? Pyramid? Other?

U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder are the headliners on the Pyramid for the 3 days. Other Stage is probably the best bet for Chems.

Saturate visuals are fucking ace, man. Totally captures the track's vibe. Ping Pong like balls that explode when the break beat kicks in is just awesome, along with the full sensory overload of neon colors. It's literally banging.

By "crap" I mean compared to their others stuffs, it is a bit too simple, no offense :). It seems to me that they have not work on Saturate visuals enough.

It's ok if you like/love it ^^

sometimes it's the simple things in life. like the saturate visuals even more than this avatarmovie like overkill perfection for example.

when i saw saturate live for the first time i thought: woooooooow!!! most impressive moment in the WATN tour...AND that's why i hope they will replace them, cause it had it's time now we need something new, something surprising.

hope i can manage it NOT to watch any youtube clip before i see/hear/feel it live and direct in front of their synth-space-ship.

Saturate is all around good live! It's so great how the visuals are like pong with a ball bouncing off the wall every time a note is played. And you really "feel" that track live, especially seeing them live in doors at sf, was like being a subwoofer! Plus that was a huge hit and a crowd pleaser, so I'd bet well hear more live.

I also enjoy the lemon and lime flavors colliding and splashing everywhere on the screen. I also 'feel' the track as well. (and thirsty for some reason!)
