The Chemical Brothers have been talking about their new track with Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess.
It's called 'The Boxer' and is out on 11th July. Tom and Ed said that Tim came to their studio to record it and he was sporting a nasty injury which gave them the name for the track:
"He was on the first album we ever made and we got back with him in the studio just recently and came up with something that we're really excited about. The sound was totally different for both of us."
"He's a lovely lad, he's really nice. It's good having a friend who's so talented so you can have fun in the studio but then the thing that you come out with at the end of it is brilliant as well."
"He had a big swollen hand, that's why the track's called 'The Boxer'."
"He'd been hitting doors and people and walls and he had a huge swollen hand that smelt of Germolene. So the track became 'The Boxer'."
Never knew thats why the track had that name, would be great to see them box again together in a live show!
