i keep on agreeing with White Noise: not the most exciting track and the most unofficial takes on this track offer more awesomeness. (as a huge fan of filterhouse that 15 second sample in endless loop with different effects does the trick for me )

And yet again, you know it's Daft Punk. Loops, loops, loops, and fruity loops. Easy to digest, nothing to worry about, but the same menue endlessly repeating itself.
This is not a burst generator, it's a mere cash generator. A listenable one, though, except for the cheesy Pharrell delivery. Pooo, this sounds so poppy and mainstream.

No no, you got me all wrong. This particular track is downright good, or let's say its premise is pretty cool. But they don't really elaborate on that loop. It comes right in, nothing really happens throughout, except for the nice vocoder action, and then it's over. It's damn funky, alright, and it really gets you moving. So far I like it. But for me it lacks a good song structre, a little build-up, peak and so forth. Even the brothers managed to do that with a less than 3 minute Another World radio edit. That's what has been bugging me about the Daft duo all along. You have great riff, a catchy loop, now go do something with it!

Reading and listening to all the stuff about this album being musician heavy and a reaction tall the EDM button pushing by numbers merchants out there is commendable but i dont necessarily think they had to that. I dont ever think the brothers react to whats out there, they just do what feels like. Further is quite "real" sounding but i dont think they did that because of other bands out there. I think Daft Punk could have done a more traditional daft punk album to show some of these poor quality EDM acts how its really done.
Anyway i have heard one single so not going to judge yet and from what i have heard its essentially a pharrell track anyway.
I have to say the way the anticipation has been built is first class.

Now that's Daft Punk! I knew that 4 minute version was a fake.
EDIT:
Okay, wow. For everyone who thought this track wasn't repetitive enough, here's eleven minutes of Pharell singing over the radio edit of the song, with the vocals left on it, three times in a row:

But then the kids go through your things without you knowing and look now...'get lucky' gets played in the market.

Nice! I'll be there to teach the, yet to be born, punks what the "real Big Beat" was like.
more on topic: do you guys also keep going back to listening the remixes of the previous released loops instead of listening to the radio edit?

And don't go forgetting again!
"Contact" should be awesome (apparently it'll be a fleshed-out version of what Thomas and Falcon are playing here).
