The Bros. were 1/2 @ the Grammy's.
They lost out to Justin Timberlake for best dance recording. However, they did pull in best dance/electronic album.

Congrats Tom and Ed! I think you both might enjoy Seinfeld's take on awards and awards shows - http://www.youtube.c...h?v=o_OqvUbBNA4

That is fucking fantastic!!!
when justice were announced as being in the same category, i was all like... ergghh, what if chems dont win, and then it was all like: BAM! chems win again
WELL DONE BOYS!!!
also, love stoned/i think she knows is a killer song, i dont personally think its better than do it again, but i am a massive timbaland, and i love that album (future sex love sounds), and that song is wonderfull.
maybe not exactly dance... but... you know.
GOOD WORK TOM AND ED!!!

I find it kinda ironic that Justice remixed LoveStoned and that imo its much better than the original
but hey, congrats Tom and Ed!!!!!!! You ARE The Night!!!!!!!!
but as for best dance recording this is what I'd say...
1. D.A.N.C.E. (don't hate me)
2. Do It Again
3. Don't Stop The Music (partly cause of the MJ sample)
4. LoveStoned
500000. Love Today (this song is disgusting)

not to turn this into a daft punk thread... but Daft Punk with Kanye was very cool. That performance alone has me interested in going to Kanye's new tour, and I despise Kanye West.
Totally surprised Herbie Hancock took best Album over Amy and Kanye...... maybe things are changing at the Grammy's.... on second thought....:::cough:::
P.S. Rhapsody in Blue sounded great.

hahaha, Biff made a funny!
I didn't catch the Grammies this time around. I would've liked to, seeing as it was the 50th anniversary n'all. :( The Kayne West performance is already being touted as a highlight of the show, as is the Amy Winehouse satellite performance. Bless Amy Winehouse - I knew she'd bank on the awards. I hope the wins will help encourage her to keep on the straight and narrow and get better. I also think Herbie Hancock winning the "big one" - though shocking because it's not what people expect - is quite refreshing seeing as a jazz album never got the biggie before.
So yeah - back to the Chems. I'm very proud of Tom and Ed. *sniff sniff* I know it's just an award and whatnot, but still. I think it's wonderful. To win this award during a landmark anniversary is really cool.

Gratz to Tom and Ed! So awesome that We Are The Night won - it deserved it. THEY deserve it. So sad that DIA lost out to Timberlake.
Daft Punk on the Grammys? Only thing that could have topped that would have been Tom and Ed there them selves. I want those glowing glasses, damnit.

Especially if Justin took the award. He seriously has nothing to do with how dance-able that song is.
Even then, the Justice remix was much better than the original version.
I feel kind of bad that Justice didn't win anything. To be honest, I think I may have appreciated their album more than WATN overall. (thats a might, don't kill me please :D)
