even when you're not moving very far...
basicly, we're moving into another unit in our complex, it's about 100 yards away, but we're on the second floor and our new place is on the third floor.
I got mover coming tomorrow, because, well, there's no physical way I can move my TV or my couch, but I can only afford the movers for like 3 hours, so I gotta get as much of this shit outta here as possible.
the cable guy's coming tomorrow morning, so we'll never be without broadband, but it's still a bitch.
I got a 22 ounce bottle of beer and a plethora of painkillers waiting for a reward when I'm done with this shit.

Awwwwwww fuck yeah tell me about it! In Ams in moved twice in 3 months - to my new house and back to mum again when all my furniture had to go storage.

hopefully it will be done by tomorrow night... I've broken my back in the last 2 hours hauling shit over to the new place, and it doesn't look like anything's been moved at all. One more load tho', and then my entire kitchen will be shifted. Then I'm gonna move my clothes over, not even packing them, just gonna carry em across on the hangers, then move all of Connor's star wars toys, then I'm going to dissasemble his bed, then I'm going to put down the wiring for our surround sound, and THEN I'll get to rest tonight.
tomorrow, hopefully, all I'll have to do is direct the movers.

You know at least you guys have allll your stuff in one place. Half of my stuff is in NY , the other half in Amsterdam (where i am now) , all my house stuff and furniture in the storage. My life is in boxes and suitcases man.

I have bad obsessive compulsive disorder when things are not where they ought to be, so I had my entire house unpacked, organized and put away by Sunday evening.
The only thing we have to do now is hang a couple of curtain rods, some pictures and artwork (but don't worry Jeanie, the "shrine" was up by Saturday night ). I love my new place, it's really awesome and there's going to be plenty of room for the Chem Kids to kick it in April! :D
