And if there are parts of that album about, are there any other chems parts about?
Sorry if these appear really stupid questions.

I had the Super BassStation rack, which is a bassstation with an extra sub. It was pretty good but a bit buggy on the midi. I don't know how common this is. I've never had any MFB synth, but yeah the microzwerg looks nice. The Arturia Minibrute could also be a good choice. And if you have a little more money, a second hand Moog Little Phatty would be an excellent choice !

also nice information on how they made the tracks on DYOH. the parts I remember:
- Using the EMU sampler to move the starting point of the sample through time on It doesn't matter. and applying the same trick in TPPR.
- Dubbing with FX tracks, lots of different versions running on the same time. used to mix in the phaser part of TPPR
- Using pencils to boost a number of tracks at the same time and with exactly the same rate. no automation on most of the mixing decks in those days of course. ingenious!
- using obscure fx pedals to find weird sounds.
- Mu-Tron Bi-Phase, don't remember exactly where
- Roland Juno solo through distortion pedal at the start of Get Up On It Like This
