I would love the original version of IBIA to be included on the bonus disc. it is completely different to the single/album version. it's a bit minimal but has lots of tribal drums bouncing from the speakers. the precussion is different, i asume this version was recorded before they got shovell into the studio. it still has the occasional chants of it began 'it began in afrika ka ka ka...'

DJ sets!!
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

i heard them play it 3 or 4 times in there dj sets. also sasha has a copy. i remeber an interview where ed said they had an early version of afrika, which was a dj mash-up they made for there sets. when they realised how well the vocal worked, they took it back to the studio and expanded it into the verion we all know. Trust me it exists!!! it's rare, it's very different and should included on this compilation!!!!!

Afrika is one of my favorite songs by the chems, I'd love to hear more stuff like this in the future, as for the early version I'd love to hear it on the compilation

I think I know what you're talking about, I heard a track with the vocal hook that was like ccrappy house, I think they were trying to get people to mistake it for the chems
