What is the funk track with this nice guitar and "clap-clap" that you mix with original drums of "under the influence" (i want to know this track's title too , love the percussion break !! ) ? Because you speak english too fast for me i just heard something like "green"... :?
And this (rnb ?) track where there is acid sounds and "tatala-tatalala-tatatatata-la-la-la ". There was also a nice piece of psychedelic rock, it would be nice to mix it with the United State of America' guardian of hearthly delights :o .
Thanx for the answers ! Have a nice work in studio, and please, come to paris for a dj set. Three years without a chemical dj set and those amazing sounds... it's pretty hard to forget.
ps: the original of sueno latino is great ! i only have the Derrick May fantastic remix but the original is good too !

I think you mean francine mcgee 'delirium' which is where tom n ed might have sampled the drums for under the influence from....allegedly.

great record. there's a nice dj q record on filter records based on a loop from delirium.....called delirious....you see what he did there?
the others I'm not sure about. if you post where abouts they are in the show I might be able to help.....in a "I'm a record lover/pervert" way not an "antype/is that the full 3.20 sec's version on the abridged 2.16 radio edit with the ever so slightly longer fade out" sort of way. 8O
sorry chap
as for the psyche tune. if it's the one I'm thinking about I'd love to know. they've played it at the start of theirs dj sets a few times and the music reminds me of a beatier version of the love affair - rainbow valley...which is big with kid jenson. who's def not house....actually he probably is in a twisted sort of way..

1-this psychedelic record where a guy say "revolution revolution" and a girl sing " let the music take your mind" . At the end there is this awesome part with "hah hah ! i wanna take you higher !!! hah hah i wanna take you higer" !!
2- I also still looking for the track before "delirium", this amazing guitar and "clap-clap" and fantastic end ! Great funky record, can kill a dancefloor }:-)
3- Also this track after "hey riff" ! Great record ! love it ! a kind of "hou-hou-hou-hou-hou" in back of the sounds . love the break "ta-ta-ta-ta-ta" before each explosion of beats.
4- Still searching for the "acid-r'n'b" track "lalalalalalala-lalalalalalaaa" :?
Ed help me :D

i do know that the first track you ask about is the undisputed truth"s version of "ball of confusion"..if you are able to put up sound clips of the others I'm sure we could remember what they are..

That's a thing i've wanted to know for a long time. These drums are just sampled or did Tom and Ed arrange them? So are the drums there in track the original ones? If yes, i'd be a bit dissapointed . . .

when it comes to sampling it's not like they're going "snip...two bar loop, stick it in the track...bosh there you are - lets go to the pub" to get everything to sound like they do....there's a lot more to it.
trust me.....mips and I spend hours learning new stuff/geeking to get our production sounding tighter/better etc
anyway finding the right sample and utilizing it is quite a skill too. look at what somebody like shadow did with endtroducing 8O
one of the things that blows me away about the chems music as well as "the actual music/song" bit is the production. how it sounds....it's not like a 90% of electro house records where you can hear which soft synths/presets they've used etc
I'm studying sound engineering/music production and I still sit there listening the details in their music thinking "christ that sounds wicked..wonder how they did that"....

Thanx for "undisputed truth" ! I'm gonna search for it in a record shop, hope i'll find it (it seems that it's a maxi).
For sound clips well i'm not able to do it. I'll think about it and try find some friend to do it. I'll be patient ( }:-@ ) and i suppose that you'll be here to answer. There is another solution. There is few of your sets on a link called "FTP". It is there i downloaded the london xpress one.
But i guess you're busy and pretty boring. Just a funny question Is it illegal for one of the chemical brothers to download his own performance? Even a radio one :) .
ps: EBW9 sounds really good.

listen recently to the london xpress show... so if somebody can post audiosamples of the moments that i spoke earlier in the topic (there is each minute where those track appear.) he will be really, really, really nice. It was my birthday friday and nobody gave me a present...so...
And if Ed answer, thanx !
p.s : you killed my friends and I during Zenith show in Paris. fortunately the second part of the show is less heartkilling ! new out of control live version and do it again are awesome !
