We probably all know the famous producer of "Higher state of consciouness" and boss of Ovum label. But yesterday i discovered an IMMENSE remix of him. Alter ego -rocker (josh wink remix. I bought the vynil edition on Hard to find the records but it seems it's sold out (they told me that few hours after the paiement >_<). I really advice you to listen to it ! i post some extracts ! so powerful acid remix !

I'll have to check that out. In the meantime, find his remix of Radiohead's Everything in its Right Place. Stellar.

Of all the DJs I've seen personally, Wink is far and away my favourite (Chems possibly excluded). Seen him twice now and absolutely blown away.

I remember seeing him at global gathering a few years ago. Had a friend on my shoulders who was on acid. As soon as higher states come on I started dancing with him still on my shoulders. That tripped him out an absolute treat.

Hahahaha,

When i saw Josh Wink it was my first time on E.

First times on E are incredible and hearing Higher State and seeing all the people jump and explode while feeling that first ever E rush is something i'll never forget. That kind off stuff only happends once.

I'd love to catch wink on a roll. Fortunately, my first roll was to the Brothers. :)

Pooter, if only you could've come down that weekend when the Chems "kids" were staying with me n'stash...

Then you could've been there to witness Jeanie's first time (on a roll, that is).

That was a really fun gig. Once the party started, the place was going off big time. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone and seeing the kids move to Winky.

*sigh*

The first time I saw Wink was at Coachella. Whirly, I think you and 'stash were chilling in the shade but EBW and I caught his set (he was two sets before the Chems) and was very impressed.

The Avalon set was on another level altogether though. Wow. What a night.

To be honest i dont really rate josh wink as much as i use to, his productions and releases on ovum are weak nowdays.

I did see him play in a barn a few years back however and he was very good.

Josh Wink was in Leeds a few weeks ago but didn't get to see him. The Avalon gig was awesome, will always remember that one!

The Ministry cd mixed by him (the one released a couple of years ago) is worth a listen.

Also his remix of Everything in its Right Place, by Radiohead is berry berry good.

Not much of a Josh Wink fan, but I must admit some of his stuff is catchy.

Already mentioned that, Iggy. Try not to be so redundant next time.

ha, but that's all the info I have on him. Actually I grew up on one of his albums "Herehere" released in 1998 (I had to do some research there as it was such a long time ago). My friends thought I was a pervert even back then because one of the tracks had a woman orgasaming and as I used to have songs playing so loud on my walkman everyone could hear.
