Memories from that day:

Normally my phone pushes out old texts but there are these 3 that for some reason dont get pushed out and one of them is "Come with me and leave your hotel behind" the one I sent you around mid day of coachella.

Y'all got into coachella before I did because I had to tape all the recording shit to my leg, hide it in the sling I had on, prep all my gear.

Walking up to security and beind like OH SHIT THEY HAVE METAL DETECORS.

Before Saying hello to you guys or anything, ripping out all the gear in my crotch infront of you. Looking for jeanie(? was this the person we were looking for?)

Dancing in the tent with tim, taking naps in the shaded areas

the accually show and the songs dropped:

big jump

believe (which I enjoyed greatly live, and was impartial to on the album)

EBW 6

EBW 7

Surface to air (cant believe you remembered me starting to cry when it started, ha! I remember when we all got back online aftergetting home tim goes: "EBW seemed to get 'emotional'")

I think i hugged everone at this time too.

Staying after everyone left and asking that one roady to tell tom and ed whirly girl was here (and knowing he really didnt go :( haha)

I remember that exact gap between the fence and the sahara tent haha. Was I the one who found it? Wondering around and watching the PTB crew pack up the gear. Do you remember that VIP party and all the shoes they handed out?? hahah

getting lost on the way out.

Ahhhhhhh... the memories... I can't believe it's been almost a full year since the Chemical senses were tingling! A full friggen year ago!

Your equipment smuggling abilities will forever remain legendary in my mind. How you pulled all that off was amazing, we were in awe!

And how could I forget that Surface To Air moment, it was so powerful as it was, and punctuated by seeing how much it affected you... that's what moments like that are made of.

That's pretty funny how you and stash started talking to that roadie before we left the tent. I admit I was kind of embarassed, the whole "tell Ed whirlygirl is here" I think I kind of shuffled a bit to hide behind stash, hahaha - you know by the look on his face that roadie was thinking, "ehm riiiiiiiiiiiiight, I just want to clear this gear out and get the fuck on the road!" Was really cool later on when the 3 of you were contemplating stealing that golf cart while I went to speak to one of the roadies as they were clearing out and loading up the truck backstage. Good times.

I think we still have your "Come With Us" text message on our cellphone. X-D

I think I'm going to cry. What a beautiful evening that was...

We SO should have done that.

And I wish we could have parked in the infamous Lot E! :D

Man, I'm getting so nostalgic for last April right now.

hahaha, well, I wasn't ready to have another encounter with cops or rent-a-cops for that matter. Once the night before was plenty enough! X-D I still have that Pope Juan Pablo II candle we light on "special" occasions because we know as long as that's burning, we're safe.

And good ol' Lot E! You and stash should've jumped out so I could've taken a picture of you in front of it.

That would be a Setting Sun shirt! I really dig it myself. It was given to me by an old internet friend, this really cool guy named Chris. The t-shirt is too big for me, so I let stash borrow it indefinitely.

Just do like I did with my Zelda Triforce t shirt... Take it to the cig-linen (?) and it will shrink :) (however with my zelda t shirt, it was involuntary)

I originally intended to wear this shirt to coachella but I bought it online to late and it did not arrive in the mail in time for coachella. I chose the elektrobank shirt because I liked it the best out of the chemical brothers' shirts I had available. I wear the Mule shirt around. It has a good fit, connected to song I love, and I really enjoy that visual.

Kick ass, er... mule, man!! It is a great visual, I dream of the Hoops visuals!

Your Elektrobank kiddie shirt was too cool. I didn't see anyone else with one at Coachella, although I did notice a couple of Chems fans in their t-shirts doing double takes when you walked by.

What's great is that my Elektrobank shirt will fit my son in a year or so. I know some parents would make their kids dress real smart for school picture day with pullover sweaters and nice dress slacks, while I'd be begging my son to please wear my Chems shirt. X-D

talking about chems t-shirts i shall tell the origin of the infamous it matters that it doesn't matter t-shirt. it goes that tom and ed were walking around toyko and saw a shop selling t-shirts with the exact phrase and they went and tried to but it but it was too small for them so they decided to make their own versions with the added robot on the sleeve. so the reason that t-shirt exist

hahaha, one of the trivia files! What a bummer - nothing's worse than seeing something you really dig, only to find that it's too small! I wouldn't mind having one of those It Matters That It Doesn't Matter shirts myself...
