you gotta have EPD in your collection. It shows how chemicals have evolved during the 10 years. I love every track on EPD..esp Alive Alone

Surrender is king.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Alive Alone is gorgeous, sort of heartbreaking but I think the words "alive alone I never meant to be either of those" is something everyone's thought about at least once or 2wice in their lives.

My favorite tune from EPD is Three Little Birdies Downbeats, it's a bit brief but it just goes off! Actually the whole progression of songs: Song to the Siren/Three Little Birdies Down Beats/ Fuck up Beats all make a nice triad. It's aural adrenaline.

Even before Song to the Siren/Three Little Birdies Down Beats/ Fuck up Beats there is CHEMICAL BEATS..Now that's one mad track...talk about adrenaline rush. Love the beats and ofcourse "Ahh!". I think chems have one of the most revolutionary and original mind when it comes to music. Every track sounds so fresh and powerful yet clever enuff to slip into your cd player and do wonders on the dance floor.

I had the opportunity to dj on New year's eve for like 15 minutes coz everyone was tired...to make long story short..i put Out of Control (Sasha instrumental remix or whatever it is) and everyone went carzy and started dancin..well not everyone but most of the people thought it was just great.

One thing I love about EPD and the early EPs is that you can listen to them and they don't sound dated or anything, they just sound great (think that makes sense) :) 8) .

^ Yes, you made sense!

I was just talking about this today (with a customer, but not about the Chems) about how pulling off a timeless sound is really such a difficult thing to do - and when it is achieved, it's such an accomplishment!

Great timeless music takes focus.
