Radiohead: Paranoid Android
Live at Earls Court '03
Everytime I hear a live performance by Radiohead a little bit more of my heart cracks because I know I will never get the chance to see them live.
how come?
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Justice : Let there be light
Love that tune. Wicked fucked up synths.
Whitey - Wrap It Up
80s sounding vocal house. Just a funky little number that makes me want to get down.
Chemical Brothers - Electronic Battle Weapon 8
Just perfect, lads. Just perfect.

Highlights of the evening's listening:
Plump DJs - Blackjack
Wicked nu-breaks. Plumps near their best.
Massive Attack - Dissolved Girl
Chilled druggy music.
!!! - Get Up
Nate Dogg cover. This is sexy yet very punk-funk. Honestly, the Take Ecstasy With Me single is fantastic.
LCD Soundsystem - Yeah (Crass version)
It's good. I like Murphy.

Some more highlights:
Paradox 3000 - Underground
"This sound won us the underground." Dirty and grimey, the way I like it.
Ebony Dusters - Ra
"By the power of RA!!!!!" Some hard deebee from a couple years back. I think Jeanie would like it. Go ape!
The Doors - Roadhouse Blues (Crystal Method mix)
Love the original, didn't think a remix would work. It does. One of those tunes that just works so well in a car, obviously, but it's great at home or in a club.
Concord Dawn - Don't Tell Me
Another big deebee track from a couple years back. It's rare that I can listen to it in large quantities, but sometimes that deebee feeling just gets me going. As it's going to be a long study night, some energy wouldn't be amiss.

Catching the Annie Mac show....
Subfocus - Special Place
Kinda liked this one. Cool little tune though not on the heavier side. A little bit of ravey d&b.
Chemical Brothers - Electronic Battle Weapon 8
Pure joy.
Nas - Hip-Hop Is Dead
Solid effort, smooth flow. Sampled the drums from The Roots 'Thought@Work" for a couple breaks, which I thought was cool and supported the lyrical content.
LCD Soundsystem - Get Innocuous
No 'Tribulations', but it's a pretty cool, gritty little ravey track. Murphy's vocals are a bit piss-poor on first listen though the female bridge makes it work a bit more. Looking forward to the new album.

Did you listen to the Trentemoller minimix? I know he's big talk at the moment but I don't rate his remixes personally, BUT, this mini mix is fantastic!

Audion - Mouth to Mouth.
I can't get over this tune. It's to good. Only Tom and Ed can make this amazing tunes - but i guess some other people are that brilliant too !!!
This song is now my favorite song of the moment togheter with EBW8 and 9. If Tom and Ed drop this in Mills i'm gonna cry from happiness.
