You'll be fine Jeanie, I know you will. I understand your nervousness - driving is a major rite of passage here in the States. Don't know if they still do it here now, but they offer driver's education courses in high school (that was an adventure). I aced the written exams, but I flunked the actual driving test. I was a bag of nerves when I went in for the driving test. I had this annoying little Asian lady instructor who talked like Mrs. Swan from MadTv and she had her past tenses all mixed up with her present tenses. She said, "you drive ah too close to, uhhhhh, to uhhhhh, the wrong side of street. And you ah not, ahh suppose to braking for animal in street." Huh? Wrong side of the street, and I was supposed to gun the engine when an injured bird attempts to fly into my windshield?" Anyway, I didn't feel so bad when I found out she failed 3 other people I knew. Here in the States we have the option of going to different DMV's (Department of Motor Vehicles) to take our tests. I waited, then took my test someplace else and got a 96%.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Getting your driver's license is only half of your license.

Learning how to drive with everyone else on the road is the other half.
