Hypocritically speaking, nothing good will come out of the chems if they break up.
Everybody knows their preferred method of sampling is to bang their heads together and record. Can you imagine Tom doing it solo? It would all end up in tears.
I can't imagine either Tom nor Ed not being involved in music somehow -god forbid when there's life after the Chemical Brothers.
I don't want to think about that right now.
*think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts*
As a curiosity, did you know that the main kick sample in Hey Boy Hey Girl was a result of a perfect hit between Tom&Ed's frontal bones? The only sample that didn't require any post-processing.

You know, I'm not quite sure what you said, but I think I get it. Nice one!!

I've tried playing some of their stuff on my drums. Some of it is really hard: Otter Rock, Block Rockin Beats.
That would probably be because their drum sequences are made up of many different drum patterns. Try singling out each pattern and play it, record/sample it and play the next pattern over that, and so on. Then it might start to make sense ;-)

Ya, I figured that out when I slowed down the tracks and listened to them carefully. Thanks for the advice anyway.

Good that you like the b-sides , i quite love Swiper myself , but there are very different opinions about that song !!!
About the next album...First of all , u can't but the chem's style in a box. I tried to explain so many times to friends what style the Chems is and my best answer is " It's not a style. It's pure madness , heaven and greatness on a disc X-D
So about the next album , nobody has a clue....!! the new song we heard at the gigs and at NYE " The Animal Song" as we call it , was huge tho. Very Shake break Bounce imho.
