Not quite best band in the world, but def. my fave dance act.
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I'd say they've done the most for electronic music in the last 10 years. if new order is electronic-rock, then the chems are rock-electronic. I like what normal cook said, something like "(the chemical brothers) got into bed with rock music." For me they have shown that you can really enjoy electronic music even if the genre you primarly listen to is rock, they were known as early on as electronic music for the indie masses.

I disagree. They're very famous, they're great but they're not the 'best band' in the world. They're not even the 'best dance band' in the world. 'Best band' in the world is Beatles, 'best dance band' in the world - no such thing.

and a tough question... I just recently went crazy over the chemical brothers, but I must say, at least for what I've paid for them, I'd probably keep one of theirs.. on second thought, it might be "The Beatles [White Album]"..
