Basically I have a laptop with 4 USB 1 ports but obviously this is really slow at transferring music from my computer to my ipod. I would like to convert my ports to USB 2 but how would i do this? Is there some sort of port that I can connect to my laptop USB 1 and my Ipod that will make it tranfer at a faster rate?! And where can i find one?!

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it's possible. They may look the same, but insde they're different.



Of course, I might be wrong, and you may be able to get a software upgrade from your laptop manufacturer that will take you from USB 1 to 2

You might need a PCMIA card to do it.

Yeap, PCMCIA card, that's all you can do.

Is it that slow ? For me it doesn't take that long...Unless i wanna update 10 G yes than it takes a while hehe.

At least your USB ports are working. None of mine are working on my laptop.



There are no hardware problems showing up in System Manager, so I think I must not have put the USB drivers on when I reinstalled Windows XP ages ago.



Trouble is, I can't find my XP disc or driver CDs now.





So how can I do any laptop mixing with Traktor? :'(

USB 1.1 = 12Mbps

USB 2 = 480MBps



Tyler, maybe you have them disabled, try to get into your laptops setup.
