2011 it not anywhere near as good as 2010, but what are your favourites of 2011 so far ?
Siriusmo - Pearls & Embarassments
Although it's a compilation of already released stuff (with a few exclusive new or unreleased tracks), the overall
level of this double album is amazing
Emika - Emika
It's probably gonna end up in my top 3, I really loved it ! Dark dubstep (good dubstep, not your average boring WOBWOBWOB stuff)

Amon Tobin - ISAM
A huge change in Amon Tobin sound, surely not my favourite album, but it still has some amazing stuff in it

Digitalism - I love you, dude
Mondkopf - Rising Down
A talented new producer

Metronomy - The English Rivieira
Just for "The Bay" and "The Look"

My fav 2011 is Tame Impala - Innerspeaker. It was just re-released as a Limited Edition with a bonus disc of b-sides and remixes. And because Erol Alkans rework of Why don't you make up year mind is on that bonus disc it becomes my favourite album of 2011.
innerspeaker is a 2010 release but I agree, it is brilliant!!!
love is all.

My album of the year so far I hate to say is not an electronic one. It is...
Raphael Saadiqs' Stone Rollin'
Old soul feel. A few epic tracks thrown in.

That mondkopf tune is tasty! Kinda reminds me of Lorn for some reason. Well thats another album I gotta get!
+1
Been one of the better tracks I've heard in quite some time, actually.

That, coincidentally, goes really well with this track... Not perfectly, but you get the idea.

Hmmm
Elbow - Build A Rocket Boys!
I Break Horses - Hearts (Shut Your Eyes FTW!)
Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2 (not even close to Check Your Head but still one of the better albums 2011)
Sepultura - Kairos (it's not that good, but if they release a record i cannot put it not on a list...)
Moby - Be The One E.P. (best 3 songs from Destroyed)

I would say this is the best release this year by far! This album is filled with some HARD TECHNO EXPERIMENTAL BEATS!
I am also looking forward to Justice's follow up album to Cross , "Audio, Video, Disco" The preview sounds better than Cross! But, we will have to wait and hear it for ourselves.
Also being released this year, that I can't wait for, is ZZT's debut album, "Party's Over Earth" The album is already released limited by 100 cassettes and will be released digitally and CD in November.
