I got a car recently that has an upgraded Bose soundsystem.

And how do you play your vinyl in the car without scratching? Or do you buy them digitaly? Or do you do some real bad filedeathmurderrapesharing?

A turntable in my car? What next, 8-track? I'm an old lady, but not that old. My car is also too small for a turntable, sadly. :P

**edit: this however, was a thing

Anywho. They are available digitally:

The tracks come to iTunes (at least here in the states) next week.

Aaah, if I had a dollar for every cassette that melted in my tape deck on a hot summer day...

I don't miss cassettes all that much but I do miss the whole ritual and art that went into making mix tapes and recording stuff from the radio.

The number 1 position is exciting! Thank you for mentioning that. :)

I know it sounds corny but I'm really proud of Tom and the success of these tracks so far. And I love that people are giving them such a willing ear.

Well done indeed.

I believe that's a repost, but I don't care. Erol is a talented DJ. Fuck me.

Are me and Csar the only ones who found Pleasure a massive letdown. Yes it's pure acid and meant to be played live - for 3 mins - better when I'm on ecstacy - but no bloody way a a tube we got almost 2 yrs of waiting? Surely some more effort should have been put to 'round it off' just considering the amount of bootlegs fans have been building the hype with.
I like Through Me a lot and infact find it very chems - a lot of ole school funk in that sample. Bit more work and it could have been as good as the old cult singles - the swipers and dope coil cultness. I've finally started to miss the ole school chems a bit more.

Time for Chems to get back to studio together I hope. Quality chems withdrawals.

Nothing but pleasure is a bit of a miss. The same riff goes round and round for ages. It feels like it's still a work-in-progress-track to me. Nothing to be excited about.

Exactly, it's a fantastic superlative live dj ACID sample/ riff. I was just hoping with the years of anticipation behind Pleasure Tom could have spent some more effort to give us a finished songish release.
The one sample I want to see worked into a song is the DJ set opener the C the H the E the M.. But I think it's gonna stay that a great great DJ sample. Gooseflesh since those were the first notes I ever heard of the Chems live / dj. Kinda symbolic now i reflect.

Sometimes it feels like everything that comes from Tom or Ed HAS TO be amazing here. That's a bit annoying. Really.

Don't get me wrong, I do love the chems but I won't forced myself to love every single track from them just because it's been labelled "Tom rowland" or "Ed Simons".

I'm pretty sure nobody would have cared about this track if it was produced by someone else. This track sounds unfinished to me. I won't blame them for that. They've already produced 7 amazing albums that I still keep playing. I do love every single tracks on them. But this track doesn't do it for me

If you don't wanna get mad here on the forums, it is recommended to be able to cope with sarcasm and irony. That said, not taking everything too literally will spare you a good deal of frustration :)

And honestly, I reckon no-one here on the forum lives that unhealthy attitude. If they pretend so, they're screwing with you. Ask Iggy. He's a master in that matter. ;)

Hm, why do I always have a hard time believíng these kind of statements....?
