Reported by EMI Germany and EMI Spain, the Chemical Brothers will be making a mix (so far unreleased) of Kylie Minogue's new single "Slow" although I do not have confirmation that their version of the song will be played at the up-coming MTVE awards as Kylie Minogue is set to make a performance.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of Kylie, some songs are a bit of a guilty pleasure I admit. :-// I never had that much exposure except the Locomotion song and the record Fever did get pimped out pretty hard here, with quite some success. She makes pop music, take it for what it is - there's much worse out there and there's worse people the Chems could collab with imo. And hey, if I could look like anyone, I wouldn't mind looking like her. ;) Seriously, in Kylie's defense, she really can sing...well. She's actually got a nice voice, at times breathy and almost delicate. If you don't believe me, check out the song she did with Nick Cave called Where The Wild Roses Grow.

I have a burned copy of fever so I cannot come on here and grab some shit and start throwing it. It's not too bad, I think moby is worse for working with britney or bt for selling his soul to the devil. Who knows, could be good. All I really care about in the end is if it's good or not. I don't think it's right to justify music as bad just because of who sings or makes it. Anyway, I really question if this is true, seems to odd. But knowing how the world works, now that I said it's not true it actually is.
Speaking of Kylie, the flaming lips released an ep not too long ago where they did a cover of "can't get you out of my head," pretty interesting, turned a trashy pop song into something more dramatic and slooow

Well I geuss they wanna make her performance at the MTVE awards pretty huge so they can blow Beyonce out of the water. The Chem Bros. are performing as well so I imagine theyre performance and Kylie's running together so they can make it longer since Slow is barely 4 minutes. For those of you who remember her performance of Cant Get You Out of My head awhile back they performance was very elaborate, light up stair cases and everything, so this yeah they really gotta try to out do last year. yada yada yada The new song isnt as poppy as everyone expects it to be, its a lot darker and most fans seem to hate it.
