Well considering the UK is the Chems motherland, it's a bit of a disappointment to see them not sitting higher up in the charts. Maybe next time, when they release their next studio effort. At least they are higher in the charts there than they are here in the US.

Still though, at least they are on the charts so the Singles must be getting exposure or whatever. Last time I was in the London was in March 2000. I think they were still on the charts with Surrender, and every day I would encounter a pub or a store that was playing them on the radio, so that was pretty cool because I just don't get that here in California.

During Come with Us, the chems made #1 on the Dance charts for a week for the 1st two singles I believe it was.

I too have almost never heard the chem bros played on the radio here or at any place (excluding clubs). Last time I heard their name was when I turned on the radio and a second later I heard Bono say, "I'd like to thank the chemical brothers" (they did a dj set as an openeing act for U2 concert that was on the radio).

There is a good radioshow in my area that plays electronic music on saturday nights and they always seem to play Hey Boy, Hey Girl up to now. They had Tom and Ed do a great drop for the show, "This is the chemical brothers and you're listening to subsonic with Arron Axlerod... I mean Axleson (Ed in the back says 'nice one')" I laughed my ass of at that one, especially since the last name he said sounds like a something a male stripper would use.

Yeah, there's a Saturday night (more like wee hours of Sunday morning) radio show that plays electronic music where I live. It's actually a good thing to listen to when you're driving home from being out or whatever - not that I'm always out that late these days anyhow. A good memory of mine was my husband and I checked into a hotel with some friends, and we were all getting ready to hit up an after hours club. <--I can't believe I survived, what a crazy evening. We had the radio on, tuned into that station and the first song to be played during the Sat. nite radio show was Hey Boy Hey Girl - it seems like a good "get the party started" staple.

Oh, and I gotta laugh about the Axelrod comment and the porn name connection! X-D

If I'm working early on Saturdays I always listen to the Blue Room on Radio 1; they play chill out and house music for two hours. Some amazing music is played on there. They also play The golden path :).

Check it out - www.bbc.co.uk/radio1. You can listen to it on the radio player on the site. The show is really good, I highly recommend it.

The blue room they are incredible:

They play chill out music (electronic) combined with acoustic track (guitar etc.)

I've got a mix CD of them with Muzik magazine.

I really liked that mag. but it isn't sold anymore in Holland.

(does anybody know why??? did they stop making them???)

As for Whirlygirl:

I didn't know you were a such naughty girl.

Knowing about PORN-connections that I (a man in his early twentys) didn't even know about.

NAUGHTYGIRL in stead of whirlygirl.
