Air’s follow-up to 2009′s Love 2 is called Le Voyage Dans La Lune in tribute to fellow countryman Georges Méliès’ influential 1902 silent film of the same name. The album features contributions from Beach House’s Victoria Legrand as well as Au Revoir Simone (who are, you know, not French. But it’s about the spirit!). Check out the tracklist after the jump.

Yeah, it´s very good. i think Air are one of that bands that are going to be critically (and irrationally) ravaged with every release. It seems critics hate them even when they´re delivering solid work now and then.

And what about this Meliès revival? First Scorsese and now this...

Recently bought this one, love it! On the last couple of albums I thought there were 2 or 3 tracks that sound like they were going through the motions a little but this one sounds really fresh and brings back some of the boldness we saw on 10 000hz legend.
