Unfortunately, my girl is very uncomfortable with drugs, especially when I'm the one consuming them. She tolerates my scheduled time in alternative universes, but hardly endorses it.
Fortunately, she's too broke to travel anywhere this year. :D
I might consider coming down in August sometime, though. I need some sort of vacation.

Still listening to the Coachella set, still remembering the highlight of my summer. In hindsight, how cool would it have been to have K-Os perform live lyrics to Get Yourself High? I know they don't usually have the live performers for their shows but I mean the man was there and everything. Tim Burgess did Life is Sweet not to long ago acording to this report from planet-dust.net:
The Chemical Brothers recently played the Benicassim Festival 2004, a Spanish festival to which the Chems are no strangers, having played their many times before. What was significant this time around was that Tim Burgess, lead singer with The Charlatans, joined the Chemical Brothers live on stage on the Sunday night of the festival to sing the vocals for "Life Is Sweet". Burgess sang the vocals on the track on The Chemical Brothers' debut album, "Exit Planet Dust".
No disrespect to anyone though that this fantasy wasn't played out. Their live performance was incredible. Hearing everone sing along to the opener Hey Girl Hey Boy still raises every hair on my arm and puts a smile on my face. I'm longing for the day when I'll see them again.
