I can't get www.o2.co.uk to open with Firefox, if you wanted an example.

I have no idea why Javascript apps don't work, they open a new window and then I don't get the good bit. Like on sneaker's site, I click to listen, then I get the tracklist and no music!!

In all honesty, I only use Firefox coz my copy of IE went tits up (bloody spyware hacker crap)

sometimes i have had such problems, no progam could get rid of them, and i have had to format the hard drive.

It really anoys me all of this spywear, and whilst on the topic of stuff that anoys me, XP is such a poor OS, it was not too good to start with, but now with all the security updates and stuff like that, it is even worse.

Excellent!

if it wasn't for this thread,

I'd probably be even worse off.

There were 2 viruses that i couldn't clean from the

system on my PC, and then in walks NOD32 and kicks

six shades of blood-stained semen out of 6 viruses!

Not Excellent!

I got a spyware scan from McAfee

which told me i had 33 infections. boo!

The problem is, i don't have a credit card or anythin

to buy the software to remove it.

Is there any good Anti-spyware out there for free?

I d/l'd the Microsoft Beta version but it isn't compatible with Win98SE.

^Thanks^ :D tho i bit the bullet and bought some software.

For anyone who's interested, but doesn't already have somethin like it, i came across some hefty security software the other day.

Steganos Security Suite 7.0

I only got Suite 5 cos it was free with a magazine but it works really well.

You can create a virtual drive on your PC which will be invisible to anyone snoopin around, so you can hide your important stuff there.

Also, you can encrypt your file into an image or audio file for sending via e-mail. this way all the snooper sees is your holiday photo, or sounds of you saying "screw you hack0r!". The only thing is your recieving friend will need the same software and password to extract the file again. Still, better than nothing.

Ok, so maybe it's not that impressive, but i like knowing the postman is trustworthy.
