Yeah, I second that - Ben is da man!!
I downloaded it yesterday - fell asleep listening to it on my iPod last night!!
I know its the Paris gig but it takes me right back to the Apollo 2 weeks ago!! Can't wait for May 28th!!
If someone wanted to record a gig while there, how would this someone go about it? What type of device would this person need to use to get optimal quality?

and there are really no differencies between 128 and 192kbps...
Disagree. If that were true then people would say that there's no difference between kbps mp3 64kbps and 128kbps. There is a vast quality difference. If you can't hear it then you need new speakers.
MP3's still a shite format though. M4A would be the way forward if Apple weren't so protective over it.

Ben_j, I don't think I thanked you for the bootleg - but allow me to thank you now even though it's a little late coming.
I just had a chance to listen to the full set in all it's glory. I just love the energy that's on there, the shuffling around bits (you know, like it sounds like the mic on the recorder is rubbing against a pocket or a backpack) and the crowd's screaming and the building excitement - it has a real rawness to it which I find appealing, if not just for the music but for the crowd's reaction to the music. Thanks again!

thanks ben for the bootleg....fantastic...reminded me of the gig up in manchester....only thing missing is the TRUE BASS pounding on my chest and the beer of course. as i said in previous post..looking for to the MAY gig (carling 24 ,live) hope to see some of you there.
ps. the intro at the gig i thought was such a tease to the chemical faithful, they seemed to take an age b4 they came on in the flesh...if i remember correctly...they did take an age.. they just appeared before HBHG...they sure know who to get there fans in the mood..thanks to tom,ed and ben for the bootleg.. 8)
