No idea where to post this question, so i'll post it here.
Can anyone provide me with accurate lyrics to "Life is Sweet", it really bugs me that i've listened to that tune thousands of times and i've still haven't figured out the lyrics, the ones google found don't make much sense.

I've managed to (mostly) isolate the vocals in the song. They're still phased heavily but after enough listens and some slight help from drunken Tim Burgess live at Fuji 04 I got this:

_________________________________________________________

Days like this are sweet
I'm fucking in my sleep
I think you're going soft
And nothing's there for me

And Saturdays are sure
I'm walking with my dog
Our lives are canyon size
Break up the sun there's nothing bad in my life

<Longer that I love>
Break up home there's nothing up with me

I'm driving in the sun
It's a hell of a way down south
And bring me back my love
It's hiding in your home

And Saturdays are sure
I'm walking with my dog
Our lives are canyon size
Break up the sun there's nothing up with my life

<Longer that I love>
Break up home there's nothing up with me

And days like this are sweet
I'm walking in my sleep
This place where I belong
I banged a million drums

Someday I'll go back home
You'll get caught up and go
I like it in my head

I'm caught up in your love (x3)
I'm caught up in your

Speaking about lyrics, does someone have the lyrics of Dissolve ?
Roses are red
Violets are blue
And I will rape
Each one of you

I am having a guess:-
Caroline, Caroline, did your heart ....... .... .... mine.
Caroline, Caroline, Caroline
Caroline, Caroline, do you want just peace of mind.
Caroline, Caroline, Caroline

I think Pixelsan is right filling in the gaps in the first line:-

Playing it in movie mode on my sound system, which tends to put the vocals out the centre speaker, I am sure I hear other vocals in behind those main ones too. Sounds like a different person too.
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

I'm pretty sure it should be "And Saturdays are short"
and
"A lie's a canyon size"

At least thats what i've figured out from the Fuji recording.
Thanks for the help though :D

'Saturdays are short' could be it too, it's enunciated as 'shor' so it could be 'short' or 'sure'. I'm 100% sure it's 'Our lives are canyon sized' though.

I only used the Fuji recording for the line 'There's nothing there for me'.

For situations like these i hate the British accent. They invented the language but speak the most blurry, non-understandable accent.

Hahaha, I can't believe this site is still up - this is what directed me to other Chems fans before the days of the messageboard:

Click on the Life Is Sweet lyrics - love the drop down options! The lyrics to this song have remained a mystery pretty much since day one.

Ah, Life Is Sweet. Beautiful ambiguity.

Still waiting for life to be sweet on my end. The possibility for the new apartment has now swung back in the direction of my favor, and I'm waiting for them to clear a co-signer. I'll know in the next day or two. Hopefully day. This has been a source of stress that I don't need, and don't completely know how to deal with.

My intuition tells me everything will work out okay, and there are some great music shows coming up in the near future. The Twelves @ Mezzanine a week from tomorrow, Soulwax @ Hardfest a week after that, and then, of course, The Chems in Oakland and possibly Hollywood at the end of next month.

Yeesh--another gray day here in SF, though. Gotta love this city in the summertime--it gets less sun than in the wintertime. Seriously.

More biking. 23 miles yesterday, hopefully 25 today, but we'll have to see. Don't know what else to do right now, so I just... fucking... bike... And listen to Further. ;-) Still absolutely LOVING THE SHIT out of Escape Velocity. God damn that track gets me so high.

Oh yeah, if anyone is interested, this is the hill I biked up yesterday: L I N K If you turn around in the street view, you'll get a better sense of how f*cking steep that is. It's actually less steep than some other hills I've biked up previously on the north side of town.

Mmm, you´re going to have a great time! Brilhantes!

They do a very refreshing dj set, I´ve seen here twice.

I saw them in May--they do, indeed, do a great set. Kind of an in-between of DJing and performing. Loves it.

And avoiding the Diplo-favela-funk trend, which would have been the easier way to promote theirselves.

Yeah, I hear em too, in the part right before that. I think it might be the 'Music gets louder, lights swirl faster' vocal used in the encore of the WATN era tours. They're extremely faint, I can only hear it on headphones.
