Maboul59'll have to iron his hands. maboul59 should have posted it earlier. Maboul59 is naughty.

So, Underworld Live is broadcasting a concrt from Oakland. For the Americans who haven't gone to bed yet, for the Europeans who don't sleep at night, and for the Asians who have just woken up, it's here :

http://qtunderworld....orld/uw_ref.mov

If you want full screen, don't watch direclty from the website. Open Quicktime on your computer, then copy and paste the link in "File\Open a URL", and you can select the full screen option.

For those who will miss it, some nice persons will record it.

Currently, DJ Damian Lazarus is playing but Underworld will start in a few minutes...

This show was absolutely phenomenal. My friends and I had an amazing time and I was absolutely blown away with the experience.

@Champiness: It says the file is 0 MB. I don't know that it's actually the full file...

It's a stream.

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

One of the kind members on the Underworld RTSR forum ripped the audio from the stream and has made it available - you can get it at http://www.sendspace.com/file/jghw05

File is mp3, around ~250MB - the usual caveats would apply - not for sale, etc etc. Enjoy!

WOW!

One of the many, many reasons why I simply do not like going to massives in L.A.

@drain-bamage: Everything, Everything is the only DVD they have out. It's pretty amazing--I've watched it many times and always, without fail, it's managed to elate me.

Wild horses couldn't drag my tired old ass to a rave or massive anymore. Unless those wild horses are the Chems. ;) The idiot factor and potential for disaster can hit any city or any country but there can be an air of aggression to an LA crowd, definitely.

I didn't get much from that clip (no sound on my work comp). I'm not sure if the shut down was on account of people being all out aggressive or from a bunch of idiotic ravers acting like dipshits and thus ruining it for everyone.

@Pooter - never seen the DVD, but Everything Everything is one of my favourite albums. I love the long build up to Juanita, works for me every time.

I just caught their show here in Montreal. They were quite amazing honestly, probably their best performance I've seen to date and for sure the best show I've seen this year so far. The Metropolis is kinda small-ish and the crowd was really into it. Karl looked liked like he was having a good time too. Not too many more shows left on the tour but if anyone has a chance to catch 'em this time 'round I'd say go for it.

From the last time I saw them two years ago to the show I saw last weekend, they seemed to have a lot more cohesion as a band, per se. Once again, they completely exceeded my expectations, and what I expected was significant.

What's really fun about shows like this is the fact that a lot of die hard fans who don't have the means to travel REALLY appreicate seeing them. Seriously, have Underworld ever played a gig here before? Seeing people know the words to Pearls Girl really did the heart some good. I dream of the day where Tom & Ed will play Montreal but I'll still go to LA, NY and even Europe to take in their shows. ;)

Last year, I saw Undeworld AND the Chemical Brothers, on the SAME day (with Justice playing between them). The Chems were the best of that evening, obviously, but I have to admit i was deceived by Underworld's performance.

I didn't no well the band at that time, I enjoyed the music but the show looked a bit flat to me. But I think the worster thing is that they played in front of a shining sun. Underworld is a band to see only when the night has fallen. It's really less impressive when they play under a bright blue sky.

I wish to see them again, but in the dark.

@ Maboul59 : Great night to Arras ;)

I've just listened "Downpipe" with Mark Knight and the very beginning make me think that they loved "Do It Again". They used the same tits !

Does anyone heard it ?

Yes, I hear it too. The songs are definitely connected.
