Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

A couple things: from the vids I've seen, it's amazing to see how Believe still has so much energy live. I don't think that one will ever die.
It's unfortunate that the die hard fans who have seen the chems all of these years will be disappointed with some of the tracks that have been played through on every tour, e.g., Out of Control, but for the folks who haven't seen them live or perhaps just once, it's still an amazing experience. Since I've seen them many times, I wouldn't mind something they've never played live or something that they haven't played live for a long, long time. For this reason, Setting Sun is a great addition.

If your a veteran to their show, and their music, I would think by now you would understand what "exclusive show" means.
P.S. Thanks everyone for the photos reviews and videos (though I'm holding off watching them till I hear the album in full). Where is the forum meetup photos???!!!

Bosco, the post-Further setlist is not really a bonus because the shows weren't advertised as gigs that would ONLY premiere the new album. It was obvious that they were going to do stuff from the back catalogue; less obvious was that these songs had all been performed three years ago. I didn't pay to see the new album and visuals (as fantastic as they sound and look) and then be briefly reminded of the music from the WATN tour.
Anyway, the song/visual transition that this clip captures was nearly worth the ticket price alone.

Well, the only new tracks they produced since last tour is Further. You got all of them live.
What did you expect more, if you didn't want tracks they already played 3 years ago ? Of course everyone has his favourites that he/she would like to see live, but playing the tracks they played was a logical choice : Hey boy Hey girl and Chemical Beats are too emblematic not to be played, Saturate/Believe is really an epic live experience, Under the Influence with the robots is one of their live anthem... They must have been quite busy bringing Further to life, and then bringing all the tracks live. Changing totally the "old" setlist would have been even more work. They always worked like that : if you look at setlists from a tour to the other, the structure stays quite the same, with additions from the new albums.
I totally get your point though. I hope it does not affect your fanness

before on the dig your own hole tour in '96 I don't need to see them again!! Get over yourselves people, the set was amazing. It had tracks in there for the casual fan, hbhg and saturate, then stuff like the version of setting sun which has never been played like that before which for a hardcore fan was ecstasy!

Chemdup, keep your hair on man. I'm not angry at Tom and Ed, just disappointed. Clearly, you're exaggerating the point I'm trying to make, to the detriment of your argument. I'm not saying Tom and Ed can't perform tracks from previous albums and tours, but to create a setlist that is pretty much identical to the WATN tour is a bit of a let down. Brother Ging knows what I'm saying - it's about rotation of the setlist, which i'm gussing they'll do for the proper tour for Further in Autumn/Winter.
