You Are All My Children Now

I remember those trailers. Viewing them now they are so cheesy, hahaha.
Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) lives in my former hometown Laguna Beach. I've seen him out and about especially when I used to live downtown, several years ago. I'm not an autograph seeker because I feel asking for them is so awkward - but if I saw him now, I wouldn't be able to resist asking him to sign an autograph saying "you are all my children now".

What scares the crap out of me Whirls is that this guy who's directing this new film is actually making his first feature film debut.
He did music videos before this!
But the trailer looks freakin good!

Wow! Yeah, I concur--I have literally NO idea how they messed with the vocal sample to make it as awesome as it is in EBW7

We know that this line
was appropriated by the Chems for Acid Children. Though I don't believe it's actually a direct sample from the film.
However a whole other acid track also used the line way back in '88. This. (Jump to around 3.28 for the line, but y'know the whole track is worth a listen.)

Well according to the 'Who Sampled' website (hours of fun guaranteed), they sampled it from this
and also according to 'Who Sampled', Jewel T in turn sampled it from this (and I guess slowed it down or did something to it in the process)
And that seems to be the beginning of the sample chain. I can only assume that Bit Bizarre recorded the line themselves in the studio. It certainly doesn't sound like the original Freddie voice (which had soundtrack music behind it) in the clip on my previous post.

Geez, that sounds almost exactly like Under The Influence (Mix 2).
The Chems definitely sampled it from Jewel T's track. But, it doesn't sound at all like Jewel T sampled from Freddie's Groove. Jewel T must also have had the line rerecorded.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's not often that the Who Sampled website gets these things wrong. But on this occasion...maybe.
