I feel like I'm becoming the interpreter of all chems references. It'll be an interesting day when I start converting them into conspiracy theories. Like why tom and ed haven't played canada in 6 years (though we've safely debunked the reasons behind that).

Wow. That's a little more emotion then in the past for winning a grammy. Didn't tom and ed say that they really didn't care back when they won best rock insturmental back in 97 (I still find it hillarious that they were even in that category back then). Still...Good on them!!

I remember reading years ago about Tom and Ed saying something along the lines of not caring too much about awards.

But that was years ago, they were in their 20's with only a couple of albums under their belts... you can't hold young men to those types of comments forever. ;) I like to think as time went on their mindset toward awards and such things has matured. Think about it - if you worked a job for years and years and you finally got some company-wide recognition, pats on the back for a job well done, bonuses, employee of the month or what have you - that's a nice thing to have and it's something to be pleased about.

Anyway I'm just babbling. Best Rock Instrumental for Block Rockin' Beats is kinda funny but as I said before, it's cool the song took that category.
