i've seen the movie two weeks ago and i'm somewhere between ben_j and the others : it's not brilliant but it's also not bad. you can watch it but you won't miss anything if you don't (except for the soundtrack which really fits in well).

I found it enjoyable and for what the story was trying to do (girl discovering who she is but caught between two worlds), the film pulled it off. Saoirse Ronan is a great actress. I liked that the film had an independent feel as opposed to being a big hollywood blockbuster type. Without a doubt the music was fantastic and the star of the show for me - it was a new way to experience the Brothers and I was most excited by seeing how their work would fit into the film.
I don't want to get into spoiler territory as some of you haven't seen it yet but I found some parts of the story a little too loosely wound and lacking in any tangible explanation to be fully understood or believable - even within the framework of the rather unbelievable story line. I think a second viewing is definitely in order so I can go back and try to catch some things I didn't before, fill up some holes, be a bit more critical and less star struck by the music. That said I'm looking forward to the DVD. Any of you plan on purchasing the DVD?

Did anyone else see the very ending from a mile away, so to speak?
Kind of.
I finally saw Hanna last night after a stressing job interview. I loved it, but i reckon it was a bit strange.
I would label it as "Bourne written by the Grimm Brothers" .
The visuals were beautiful, the action pieces very well executed, the acting was nice (with Blanchett reprising her Indiana Jones role)
and, come on, all the spy-action movies have their plot holes. It was very fun and original. It was totally up my alley from the start, I love this kind of features.
i wonÂŽt add anything about the music. It was AWESOME to hear the Chems in a theater, hope this to become a trend.
