sooooo damn hot yesterday and today - i made the foolish mistake of not going to bed and sitting in the garden drinking pints of strongbow at 9 in the morning hehehe - im now sitting here looking like a slightly fried lobster!
saw jon carter sat night at the ocean rooms in brighton - he played a cool set, went and had a little chat with him afterwards, think he appreciated it :? X-D
dancing is soul enriching - fact :)
and glastonbury in 2 days!! cant wait 8)

His new album (Chaos Theory) seems like it'd be a good starting point for people. Its not as jazzy as bricolage or permutation, and not as sci-fi, idm-ish as supermodified or out from out where, but it still has elements from both, so it will give you an idea of his general sound. Personally, my favorite of his is Permutation, but all of his stuff is good.

Yeah, to start Chaos Theory is a good album. Then i think you should take a look at Supermodified (which is a real piece of art), his best album.

Missed seeing him live tonight b/c I was too skint. Would've scraped it together but everyone was busy and uninterested and would've gone by myself if there was actually any hallucinogens available....... feckin' connections drying up in a time of need. I have the feeling that I'm missing an amazing show right now. Thank goodness I have beer and vodka.

Don't even say that. It's tempting to pack my bags and head downtown to the bus terminal. August if I can squeeze it in, I might just take you guys up on tyhe offer.
My 'rents are out of town for the weekend, but everyone's already got plans (K-OS concert, but again I'm too broke), so not even a party here tomorrow night.

Seriously man, any fucking time. We'll take you to the only club in LA worth going to, we'll lay on the beach, hit the trees until we look vietnamese, anytime you want.
I'll be back from Mineapolis on August 5th, if you can make it down in august, serial man, you can crash here for a week if you want. It's a buck to take the bus, a 10 minute ride, right to the beach from here, and not to sound like a queer or nothing, I'll even put sunblock on you :D

I could use the sunblock, as I'm burned really bad right now. Strangely, less than 2 hours from my house is a beach that Playboy once rated as high as #6 in the world and I've spent 2 out of the last 3 days there.
