OK, so we're listening to the music channels on our cable tv, and we just heard a nasty BT song. Something about "breaking my balls" or whatever.

I can safely say, I hate this song.

'stash just said BT doesn't deserve to wipe Tom and Ed's ass with this tune. That about sums up my thoughts.

Speaking of flying insects. We're having a massive bee infestation at the moment. There was a beehive in a tree outside my work and it took 2 tries by the extermination crews to get rid of it. Before I realized the intensity of the situation, I was sitting out front taking a break. The exterminators were there that morning so I thought the situation was taken care of. I saw a lone bee and swatted it, no biggie. Then I saw a couple more and they wouldn't leave me alone. Eventually it got to be too much, more bees came and I pulled a massive freakout in front of god and everyone, swatting at these annoying bees. Then I ran back into the building and my coworkers were laughing because they saw me through the window. I must've looked like such an idiot!! X-D

On the plus side, there's a lot of gorgeous butterflies flying around. A lot more than usual.

I lived just outside of Chicago when I was really small. Aside from the snow, I remember the hot sticky summers and the bugs. I was getting bit all the time, but when you're a little kid bugs are cool - except for the flying, buzzing and stinging kind. That's always freaked me out.

The worst mosquito experiences of my life was a week in Kentucky in the summertime, and Minnesota.

Uh-oh, all this rain... time to bring on the mosquitos!

I lived in Wheaton from the time I was 2 and a half til 5 years old, my earliest childhood memories.

I remember when my dad got a job proposal, it was the tail end of winter. They said we were moving back to California and hopefully it would be the last time they'd have to shovel snow and salt the driveways. Well, I didn't have to shovel snow, so I didn't care if it snowed all the time - I loved the snow and going sledding with my brother on those days when there was too much snow for him to go to school. So come springtime all the snow melted except for a few patches around the base of our house. My parents were all excited, no more snow! But I was so sad to be moving and throwing a crying fit, saying "this is my snow and I don't want to leave it!" X-D And I played in those little dirty patches of snow til it all melted away.
