The Chemical Brothers iTunes celebrity playlist (with tracks chosen by Tom) has been available for a while, but haven't seen anyone mention it. Includes some Beck, Talking Heads, Tresspassers Williams, Spiritualized and of course New Order. Worth checking out, seems to reveal what inspires their slightly more contemplative less beat heavy side.

Damn beatrobot! you've found a lot of great stuff today, BIG thanks to you!
I'm glad to see Tom picked Talking Heads' "This must be the place (Native Melody)." This song always makes me want to dance and sing, really uplifting. But all the tracks he picked are great IMO luckily to save money I had half the albums.

Man that playlist is awesome, even Trespassers William in there. Love it!! And even a Prodigy playlist so cool. And if I read correctly there is a remix of Phoenix at the end. Man, I have to download that.
Also check the Gorilazz playlist. All 4 members get to choose their favs so that's 39 tracks.
P.S. Is this like a DJ set or just fav tunes by the artiste? Who has downloaded some already. Looks damn interesting to me.

I'm pretty sure it's just regular song downloads, however by getting music artists to choose their favourite songs I think it's a very good and creative way of advertising certain music. The Lemon Jelly one is quite good with some very funny hip-hop tracks. C'mon Tom, now that you've chosen Beck let's have a collaboration! It would be great if they did, two of my all-time favourite artists. Incidentally Beck wanted to call one of his songs 'Out of Kontrol' but couldn't since the chems got there first, pretty cool fact.
