The bit of the Olympics I saw with the US ladies gymnasts 2 days ago showed some tumbles outside the mat and near misses on the balance beam, and a couple of unsteady landings. I see they have won gold today so they have definitely upped their game!!

I haven't been able to keep up at all with the games and I'm a little bummed out. I saw a bit of gymnastics the other day with Russia and Romania (who seem to have fared well in the past) so I hope they do well and have enjoyed watching their teams compete in previous games.

I see I spoke too soon about Michael Phelps (US swimming), too. That man is insane. I guess the athletes are sort of finding their stride.

So anyway, what's this noise I'm hearing about the Chinese woman on the swimming team? There seems to be a lot of anger over her abilities. Do you think she's doped up or is she superwoman?

Myself and the Mrs have been to the tennis and volleyball this week, great vibes. Do it again and block rockin' beats both used at volley ball during breaks in the play. One thing that has been great about the Olympics is the very hard working volunteers, the only downside has been the ease of getting the tickets and price.

Are you guys able to watch the Olympics on the BBC website? It's fantastic! The ability to watch what ever event you want live, and having interactive video capabilities too. Even though we don't all support the same teams, it's nice we've all joined together to support our elite athletes.

Not denying that some of these female gymnasts you gawk over wouldn't make for an interesting shag, but I can't exactly find myself lusting over those girls. Now on the other hand, the blonde and brunette posted above ... well... yeah.

Well done Brits you just took Gold and Silver in White Water 2 Man Canoeing Slalom. Pretty cool scene at the end with the team celebrating and floating down the course.

Major blunder by the British Men's squad during Cycling qualifications today. Brits bike wobbled straight out the gate and fell off the track. Made up for it though, as they got a re-do and set a new Olympic Record for team Sprint with their first heat/race.

Check out team Germany's thighs though:

So far the BBC coverage has been good, but I mostly watch feeds from other sites as well . NBC just DVR's the events!

Not sure if you saw the game bosco, but we humiliated Nigeria 156-73! We knocked down 29 3-pointers!

'Flying Squirrel' killed it in the gym all around.
And got more medals in swimming as well.

But more importantly, the heptathlon is today!
