my own feelings on CW U:

CWU: reworked version of scale?

IBIA:the album version doesnt do it justice..the best part of the song is the long break in the single version. im still puzzled as to why it didnt make it on the cd version.

GB: FUNKAY! the vocal break is brilliant period.

SG: a bit predictable in places.. the synth is really thin too.. temptation is better.

hoops: seems unfinished. EBW6 makes up for it tho.

MEE: really powerfull. needs a big sound system for best effect, the version they play live rocks the house. it feels like it could have been on surrender. i really want to see a square pusher or AFX remix }:-) 8O }:-)

TSWI:err... where to start(or rather, where do i begin? }:-) ) i was kinda hoping hope sandoval would work with the chems again, altho given the context of the cd beth is great anyway.i like the jaded lyrics :) too acoustic for my tastes.

denmark: HIA should have been here.

PS: great song, but they didnt develop it enough. too short!*

the test: great intro. however, it doesnt compare to TPPR. it isnt as complex or layered. because of the presence of vocals, the song doesnt get to buildup the way TPPR or TSU do.

CWU: reworked version of scale?

YEP..and scale is better i think....

okay maybe not reworked....but inspired by scale

- another reason why surrender is SOOO much better than 'come with my arse' ..."people of all universe blablabla repeat, repeat bla."

if you take away star guitar + the concept of hoops from the album - then i'll think the b-sides of surrende would make a better album than whats left from come with us....

chemical brothers are tyring to be different and make something new. That is what they did on surrender and now on come with us. The mix of techno and rock is seen on DYOW and mix of hip-hop,pop,trance and techno is seen on Surrender and it is only logical that they brought all the genres in and delivered CWU. One can only expect something different from their next album Chemical 5.

How about a mix of Techno and Heavy Metal?

That would be something...Horrible maybe?

The KLF started to work on something like that ("Megadeth with drum machines"; J. Cauty) in mid 1992, but like many other ideas they had, this never really got off the ground.

I think that next album will be softer than previous...

i totally disagree with what an-type thinks about chemical 5. I think it will be like surrender. i can bet on it. they realized that CWU was not well appriciated among people (evevn though i like it) they will strike back by doing what they did earlier.

Softer ??? Hell no. CWU by no means is soft album and neither is Surrender. Both these albums are very energetic. I like new Chemical stuff rather than old. You should listen to these albums and think about all the cool stuff that is going around on that song. Name me one artist that creates music like the brothers or tell me a song that reminds you off Chemical Brothers ? em guessing there is nobody like them. Every track,ok,maybe not EVERY single track but most of the tracks are totally different from the regular Prodigy,Crystal Method, Leftfield, Underworld, Moby, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, FSOL, Aphex-Twin and other similar artists. Chems master at every kind of music. They are the gods of dance music and i really think that new chemical album is gonna be like Surrender.
