sorry to start yet another galvanize thread but i just had to do it.
well i have had a few days to really listen to galvanize over and over again, and i gotta say i am totally blown away by it!! an absolutely fantasic first single, the strongest come back track they have ever released. as whirly has said in a previous post q-tip was an inspired choice for this collaboration and he has certainly delivered on this track. i love the way the bulk of the vocal is delivered in the first third of the tune. stripping it right down to the bare bones in the middle, making it sound like your reaching the end, and then it builds back up. the progession of the tune is unexpected but so great and devastating.
ed's post on the forum over the months saying how this is gonna be there greatest album and how we should 'believe'. anyone who locks themselves away in a studio for 2 years crafting an album is gonna be prowd and believe in what they have achived. i gotta say that i could never imagine them making an album better than surrender. but now i truely believe we are gonna witness something exceptional with push the button in january.
while other artist like the prodigy and fatboy release albums to mixed reviews by their fans. their is one band that have never let their fans down, our band. i dont know how they do it, but i'm really glad they do.

My first chance to listen to galvanize was today, and did I! Really made my day, this album will rock it again yeah!
And this song is also pretty much what Evil Nine has cooked up with their "You can be special too" debut album (especially Crooked), which I need to grab real soon too. Here I was thinking that Evil Nine really has something going on and then the chems go and make stuff that's at least equally impressive if not more!
:D
