Hello fellow chem fans.

The time has come for the brothers and sisters to help arcadia corrupt in a national music competition (in Australia) that we've entered into.

As some of you may know, we are a group of two 17 year old college students that make electronic music through Reason and two midi keyboards. Just so you know our style, our music is heavily influenced by the chemical brothers(ofcourse), the crystal method and adam freeland.

Anyway two weeks ago we entered the competition "triple J's unearthed" and as of monday we made it to the top 100 overall chart ranking in at 92 with our song "Etherium Wind". We also managed to get 24th in the electronic music section for the same song. :)

So for those of you who are willing to help, we would greatly appreciate if you could firstly check out our music and tell us what you think. And for the people that want to provide extra support, they can "rate" our songs which therefore boosts our ratings on the charts.

We hope you guys check it out, and most of all we hope you enjoy it :)

heres the website

Cheers brothers and sisters,

ARCADIA CORRUPT

Sounds pretty good! I'll rate it.

I love the friggin beat. It's pumpin'!

The beginning sounds a little like something I've done in the past :-D

But there are still some eqing issues to be fixed. Some frequencies interfere with each other too much.

E(argasm) = m(usic) x c(hemicals)²

more great electronic tunes from canberra! hahah i had no idea you were from here. are you guys performing live anywhere?

just with the dynamics of your tracks it's not really eq issues, more mixing/compression issues. simple volume reduction on the kik/bass might even smooth things out.

but yeh digging the tunes! i like all three, but influx 91 is a highlight for me. massive props for breaking the top 100! fuck i haven't put anything new on unearthed for a year.

i recommend the course 1000%. the stuff i've learnt has improved my tunes + the people you interact with are all involved somehow in the music scene in canberra and beyond! plus it's cheap and the facilities are industry standard. i can't believe it's not well known around canberra - they need to advertise more imo.

i go under consumer. so yeh http://www.triplejun...ed.com/consumer

Consumer,

First of all, i checked out your music. Man im very impressed with the sound quality that you use. It sounds very professional. I especially liked your first song when the drum beat kicks in. I also really liked the second half of your remix.

Btw you are now added as "unearthed artists we like" :). We also voted for all your songs :)

the charts have also been updated. Arcadia Corrupt is now in at 1,2 and 3 in electronic music :) Our song etherium wind is 18 overall in the top 100.

My bro and i were thinking... when his band gets back from overseas and starts doing gigs again, you should join them and us for gigs. Probably have them at the anu bar. Would you be up for that?? Probs wont happen till like next year though :P
