Do it Again / Get Yourself High

They should remove "leave home" and "block rockin beats", there are so many tracks that could fit well in the show.

Likewise. Gets me every time.
Was a tough decision not to go at the weekend, but family/work doesn't really allow for festivals... holding out for an arena tour later in the year. Feedback from friends so far has been "blown away" and full set with wee break in the middle.

I would think so. Just imagine them playing a festival and some festival site roadie confuses the gear which NEEDS to be at a different place the day after (for another festival gig e.g.) - that could lead to gigs being cancelled just for one but important part of the gear missing... the financial damage would be huge! to avoid that: stencelling even their pens!

It's definitely been a lot slower this time around as far as reviews go. That's not to say there hasn't been quality reviews and posts. Krisper (who saw a bunch of shows in Australia) immediately comes to mind - he wrote an amazing overall review of his and his wife's experience and gave some fantastic updates as he traveled around. There have been other remarkable reviews here too such as the French updates. I do wish there were more updates and reports, though. Feedback, writing about the experience from what you did to get to to the show to how the show made you feel, highlights, lowlights, the pretty girl you saw, the asshole that spilled his drink on you... It's all part of the experience and putting this stuff out there only helps Tom and Ed improve on their showand level with their fans (we are their eyes and ears, reading about their shows is the best way for them to get feedback on what their fans think). Even if the reviews aren't glowing and awesome, it would provide some springboard for discussion and debate. But I think part of the reason why there just hasn't been as much discussion is that people are busier these days, there's easier ways to communicate on the net, and it's a simple thing to put a video up on youtube. There's that instant gratification of reliving that moment right then and there when a video is uploaded. And it's a quick and relatively painless effort to throw in a couple of comments on the youtube videos or on Facebook or wherever. It's easy and fun to do this on the go, on your phone. There's nothing wrong with making it quick and easy, and there's nothing wrong with communicating like that but maybe in general the messageboard aspect of being a place for just Chems fans only to converge after a show is a bit cumbersome and perhaps even outdated...

Here is Don't think
The crowd is sleeping
Yeah, I saw that too when I was browsing the videoes yesterday. But the crowd at the back is always a lot more lax than the mosh up in the front.

that happens at festival gigs all those c****, "yeah I would not pay for a chemical brothers gig but I like this one song which was on the radio quite often some years back so I am just going to check them out ... - hey, they play weird music, this has nothing to do with this one song which was on the radio quite often some years back, they suck but now I am stuck here and cannot get away and where else should I go, there is Limp Bizkit on the other stage bla bla bla"
another reason why they don't count (as much)

I see where coming from!
For example, I go to this festival, and one of my bands won't be playing for another hour, so I'll check the other stages or check the schedule to who's playing so I can kill some time till my band plays. I find out I have three choices! One, a band from Canada who I never heard before, two, a female singer who I only know one song from her and that was from years ago,or three, a 40 year old rapper trying to make a comeback cause his newest album is a hit!
If I chose either one of these three. it might be a hit or miss! And it has happended to alot of people here on this forum (including myself) In this case, I choose the female singer. After her performance, I run quickly to see my band play while my friends tell me 'was she any good!'
I replied 'she sucks'
Sometimes its a gamble and you lose out, but sometimes it can make you a new fan of someone's music!

My only problem is my old bones are having a hard time dancing for long hours at a festival and by the time my fave band plays I am usually worn out. My misses and I usually have to help each other leave, we can hardly walk.
