Wow, so full of surprises! I want to hear the "come into my house song" - sounds intriguing, hope it's "proper naughty" as you folks across the pond would say. ;)
iguanapunk and sneaker, I have something I've been meaning to ask. After the Chemical Brothers did their last Glint set, a person named Fatman88 came on here and said, "They played a really cool sounding one with vocals which sounded oasisey or something similar, going on about "some one to call my sun, someone to call my own"
So, you think this song is theirs, or the work of somebody else? Does this sound like a lyric you heard at the live show(s)?
Either way I need this song if just for that one lyric...

Wondering wether they play in Germany again at anytime, I do want to see them live. A dream would comming true..
Can't imagine they could be no longer together as a band one day and I would never had seen them live acting :'(

Not much to add to Iguanas review really mainly because I'm still a bit wonky and tired.
A top weekend and wicked to see the boys doin' it after dark & outside again!!!.....
As always the highlight for me were the edits where they chop everthing up to buggery. yep I was a a very happy and messsy young man.
Gutted about the DJ set - we got to the glade and were greeted with a mate saying "I don't think they are playing.....I think there was just an announcement but I'm not sure if I imagined that"....good lad
Still we got the live set and saw some other great music over the weekend....still my fave place in the world to dance....
and the chems?.....Def still the best live electronic act there is......no question
Chebbers xx

as for orbital.....
I'm sad to see them go, I was a massive fan back in the day and had some of my early experiences out dancing to them....
I thought the set at glasters was good but not brilliant.....live they seem to lack dynamic when comapred to somebody like the chems ......the new stuff just sounded a bit lack lustre really.....impact sounded wicked and I fell in the mud with a smile on my face when they swapped bon jovi for the darkness but I dunno......it didn't hit me like it used to.....still a sad moment as they tweeked the acid line from chime for the last time
pioneers and top blokes both of em - I'm sad to see em go....just wished they could've gone with a bang...
lets hope they're back at some point eh..

@M'Chebne
The DJ set was moved to Lost Vagueness along with Fatboy Slim. I'm glad I didn't bother going down the Glade at 2.00 am after a mental day, I would have collapsed out of sheer exhaustion when finding out it had been moved. I haven't a clue where anything is, we found the Glade once, after that, it disappeard.

As far as I know the brothers did not actua;;y dj at all and it was only Fatboy in Lost Vagueness who seemed to be having a lot of fun.... ^The brothers were oput and about though, experienceing the festival!
However, I would not take this as gospe as Glasto is always pretty hazy,

Don't think i'll be going next year if the rumours are correct. Apparently you have to put your name into a hat for the tickets, it's a lottery, and if your name gets pulled out you go. The statistic for this year was; one in twenty people who tried to get tickets got them, ONE in TWENTY!
