A great video for all football lovers :

We in France are so lucky to have such a fucking good football player :)
Zidane rocks! 8)
The video really numbs you up by showing so many great clips. It is like the goal round-up programs where you know that every situation ends up in a goal. All the brilliant tricks and shots are even more amazing when you are watching a game and can't expect them in advance.
It really is amazing how Zidane can take control of a fast pass and instantly launch the ball in the desired direction. The champion's league final volley kick is just icing on the cake.
Btw. this year's final was ruined in a way by the early red card. I think Barcelona deserved the win but if the first goal had been allowed and the red card not given we would have seen a much better game.

yeah the referer was a real asshole... Arsenal should have played with 11 players during the whole match, and Pires shouldn't have been replaced... That's a shame

I implore all of you who have the opportunity to watch tonight's NHL hockey Stanley Cup Finals. It is the final game of the season, Game 7 of a best-of-7 final series, winner-takes-all. Carolina versus Edmonton, with Edmonton having been adopted by pretty much all of Canada.
If Edmonton wins, the country will go berzerk, as a Canadian team has not won the Cup since 1993. It should be a fast, exciting, physical game and if there was ever a better introduction to hockey.....
Granted, for those of you on the other side of the ocean, it will be on a tad late (1 AMish, I think), but tape it or something and watch it between World Cup matches tomorrow. :)

And England are giving Pakistan an absolute PASTING in the cricket! With the score currently 93-4, and with bowling figures for Harmison of 3-14 and Panesar 1-0, we are totally owning them at the moment!!

Very pleased.
Less pleased that I spent 40 minutes unsuccessfully trying to download a new version of TVants b/c I didn't know it was actually on TV here. }:-@
I only caught the last 20 minutes, but it looked good. A little bit too often we just cleared the ball out to no one in particular, but our offensive play looked a lot more insightful than the past two years. Bellamy and Aurelio both looked good, I thought, and Sissoko is immense.
Well pleased.
