Did you try the Olde Suffolk yet, or saving it for tonight?

I didn't even see this thread til today, gonna try and score some tonight... whirly wants the Innis & Gunn, I checked bev-mo, they have the Suffolk, but not the innis, and the beer guy at Hi-Times won't be in until 4 tonight, so I'll probably just go by there...

The Innis & Gunn was amazing the first half of the bottle, then got progressively whiskier but still interesting. Definetly something a little different.

Olde Suffolk is the beer I miss the most. If I wanted an ale to sit back and enjoy, it was my definite choice. Unfortunately, it sold about as well as luxury automobiles in Rwanda (ie. I was the ONLY person buying it for about 3 months), so they stopped ordering it.

Well, I know I'll at least be able to get that... and probably get some Indian food tonight, with a big, frosty bottle of Kingfisher IPA... oh yeah

Dude, my jealousy levels are peaking. I would kill for a curry and a Kingfisher, although the Kingfisher is a lager, not an IPA.

Can't wait for NYE, I'm going to be shitting curry and lager until March afterwards.

I don't know of any Indian beers that aren't lagers, to be honest. Maharaj, Lal Toofan, and Kingfisher are all lagers.

India Pale Ales are usually English, and American IPA's are a separate breed: very over-the-top in flavour.

Nah, man, I've actually never seen that before. Sounds good. Certainly has enough attitude.

I love the double-digit beers. Strongest beer I've ever had was the Samichclaus, which is made in only one batch a year on St. Nicholas' Day. It's a 16% lager that tastes like chocolate-coated cherries immersed in paint thinner. Unfortunately, I can't get it here anymore and that fact actually ruined Christmas for me, because I was so looking forward to it.

I should order some Samichclaus over the internet now so I have some for Christmas..... *fumbles for credit card*
