I'm gonna buy this record on LP and CD and hear it on LP first - I still can't get over what I experienced when I heard Come With Us on LP - DAMN!

So there's no news yet at all? With May not too far now I was really hoping SOME tidbits!

Hey I want to add a couple of things to speculate about...

Firstly, my guess for the album title is "Salivate" :-D

And secondly, what do you think of the "friends" list on the chems myspace page? It seems to include people with whom the chems have collaborated before and some musicians that I'm not very familiar with but ... possible collaborations on the new album? Namely there's at least "Willy Mason" and "Trespassers William" on the list. Or is the list on the page sort of a random sample out of their whole friends list?

That's a good question... I guess we'll have to wait and see/hear. I haven't looked much on their friends list, just a quick glance and saw Air and Spiritualized there :D But I imagine it must be musicians from Astralwerks, Raft, Virgin (and of course the collabs). But I don't know, so it's all speculation on my part.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

Anna-Lynne Williams from Trespassers William was vocalist on Hold Tight London.

Willy Mason would be brilliant - he's a great singer/songwriter. But yeah could be just a coincidence as he's Astralwerks like whirly said. There's even a link to the Pacman arcade game on there lol X-D

Would love to see Ashcroft and Sumner back in the Chems camp someday.

you could be right (!) But, I'm puttin my money on Bjork (especially since she got another album out in May)

She seems very open to working with anyone, and for what its worth, she's playing two of the same festivals as the Chems (Rock Werchter and Glastonbury.)

but then again, probably not... :P

Maybe we are reading too much into this "someone great"? It's not like ed would have come here and said "we're working with someone average-to-mildly-good-depending-on-your-tastes".

Then again, the Toyshop visit ... hmm..

Njork would be absolutely insane. I dont think i could possibly be a bigger fan of the chems music , but if there's a track with bjork , my fan-ness will blow up to un-human like proportions.

ANyways , wait and see kids , wait and see.

Let it totally suprise you!

Bjork's collaboration with Fluke was awesome, don't see why it shouldn't work with the chems...

Only if it's old Bjork circa 93-2000. Today's Bjork is overly pretentious.
