Dotman is a Shakespearian Actor? Dissolve and Wonders of the Deep was referred to by a different title (Gem/Germ & Wonders)? A lot of stuff that looked so clean that it must be CGI wasn't? The background people on dissolve had very deep character?

All those birds were real?

And you're ignoring the fact that the "Get Yourself High" clown, the "Do It Again" dancers, and the "Come With Us" head were all played by that same Shakespearean actor!

My pass just updated this morning, so I didn't have a chance to view before I left for work. Can't wait to see this bit, though!

Yup
Just go to the top -> Store -> Check for available downloads (in Store dropdown).

It would be nice if it automatically did that every few hours or something. But huzzah! Its downloading!

WOW!
Just watched the making of! It was fantastic to see how they created all those visuals! I think it is really great that Horse Power was the only segment for which they used true CGI. The thing about the Starlings was very interesting since I've never seen them in real life. I wonder how they made the water around Caroline so much more black looking then when they shot the video?

Whoa, that was cool! It's amazing how much of the visuals are real.

I think they superimposed it onto a black background, but I could be wrong. Maybe they just turned the darkness knob down.

I'm up to the cornflour and water bit. But I have to take a break here and say this is freakin awesome!!

I'm super impressed and full of wow once again. As if I needed another reason to be Wowed! The approach is so hands on and the ideas that are born out of simple little things, such as battery operated lights out of focus, are so clever. I would never have guessed in a million years that dot man face wasn't computer generated! That guy is rad!

It's obvious that so much industrious hard work went into this. I have a whole new appreciation for the brilliant Further visuals!

All right, gonna go back to the cornflour and water now.

The cornflour and frequency thing is old hat, seen it enough times so not amazed, but it was shot very well. This is what it's all about

Was it me, or were the sound levels on this making of through the roof? So loud and distorted.

I thought the guy was joking about him being a Shakespearean actor, I think i've seen him in The Bill (UK Police soap)

Nope, not just you - The sound in the Making Of feature did seem a bit off but I chocked it up to it being this way because I got this through the iTunes pass. :???:

yeah, the sound was a bit up and down throughout the clip, but nothing unbearable. Once again though, truly quality stuff. Such an amazing job done on both sides of Further. I can't say enough good things about this album/project.

I liked the small explanation about Horse Power and how they were influenced by 1920s Bauhaus Theatre. Looks really cool in my opinion. I kinda though that the actors for dissolve were twats.

i love the making of feature. all the lights and everything are real, only 1 true bit of CGI.

but the most impresive thing? the phantom camera, 1 second filmed = 40 seconds played back....amazing...everything just looks incredible, all the bubbles and the silk dress that caroline wears in the water.

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

I bought the CD/DVD and yes the sound on the Making of Feature was very loud. It wasn't distorted, just loud. I had to turn my receiver volume down from 40 to 25. As a video editor, I thought it was absolutely brilliant how some of the easiest things such as shooting lights and just putting them out of focus and editing it to a beat could have such an amazing visual impact.
Please check out my blog Sleeping is Giving In for some great mixes and other good things!
