People have gone fake tan mad over here, its crazy. The thing I don't like about it is that she may look nice and brown (or orange sometimes) the night before, but when you wake up next to her the next day the Daz white sheets will be covered in the fake tan and she's almost as white as the sheets once were.

It made me think about how fake women really are.

High Heels You arn't really that tall

Wonder bras Your breasts arn't that big

Fake Tans You're not that brown

Contact Lenses Your eyes arn't that blue

Hair Dye Your hair isn't that colour

You know what I mean, fake bastards, the lot of em!

Since feminist activists have conquered the world (or so it at least seems), nowadays men are also expected to fake their appearances.

Wigs, toupees, etc. - Fake hair.

Big Muscles - Fake power, you have just pulled maximum weights at the gym.

Flashy Car - You are lying about your financial status.

Cosmetics - Yes, they are really pulling these for men too (bad bad bad you are never going to see me falling into this no no no)

(Emotionality - Are you really that emotional, or just trying to ..gain something from it?)

Just some fast ideas, maybe you can add some things to this list. ;-)

Out of the two sexes, males are the less fake. Some 'men' are going to far though. They are refered to as metrosexuals and are pretty much women with designer stubble. Applying fake tans and manicuring nails, ffs, you gay bastards! You need to be dropped off in a jungle with nothing more than a cocktail stick, that will make you into a man!

I confess, I dye my hair. I wasn't ready to go grey at 19 years old and I'm not ready to go grey now. End of story that has nothing to do with whether or not anyone besides my husband thinks I'm hot or not. I just don't want to see gray hair on my scalp, it not only makes me look older but makes me feel older. One day I'll go grey, just not yet.

I also shave my legs and pits and do the obligatory tweezing of the brows, girlie stuff - it's for the good of not only my husband, but for mankind as well!!

No fake tans or real tans for me, thanks. There's just something not right about women who overbake themselves and wind up looking like their purses by the time they're 30 years old. As for bottle tans, whoever said orange was a normal skin color was wrong wrong wrong.

As for fake tits. I love mine as they are. ;)

haha. There was a news story yesterday about a fad with 13 yr old girls at the moment who use sunbeds frequently, some even five times a week. The Doctors have said YOU WILL get skin cancer by doing this. Not only that but end up like a leather purse as you put it whirly.

I can't stand fake tits, it's real ones all the way for me. Luckily over here most people are more real than in america because they love surgery over there, it's like a hobby:

american 1: I'm playing a bit of tennis today, how about you?

american2: I'm going to have a bit of surgery, I haven't been a whole week you know!

american1: damn, this big mac is lovely.

The 13-year olds getting fake tans doesn't surprise me. Here in the states I think you have to be 18 but minors can get them as long as they have adult permission. Tanning beds are dangerous and we've known for years that they can lead to skin cancer, yet people are still compelled to bake their skin.

I could go on about this, but really, I don't care a whole lot what other people look like - fake or not there's always more to someone that meets the eye. We spend a lot of time judging people by how they look and tht's really what it boils down to when it comes to why people get fake tans and fake tits etc. etc.

As for the American love affair with Big Macs, I can explain quite easily. A disclaimer, I'm not the best mom in the world but what I see at my son's school sets the American precedent. Us parents are required to pack a mid morning snack for our kids before we ship them off to school each day. Just volunteering at my son's school, I've seen that where there should be a healthy snack, there's candy bars packed in lunch bags instead. Or sometimes no snack at all. There are 5 and 6 year olds and they gotta eat! My son tells me all the time that so-and-so didn't eat breakfast that morning and for snack they had a donut or a snickers candy bar. It's very sad. It's not that I live in a crappy area - it's just that parents (trophy moms in particular) are lazy and don't care. It's a shame that their kids have to suffer for their ineptitude.

You have to be 18 here too, but what do the tanning places care, they're making money out of it.

I do care what people look like, mainly women because I love the ladies. Obviously you don't cos you have a longterm partner.

^haha, well, when I say natural, I don't mean unshaven and stuff like that, just real bits (baps, lips).

Oh yes definatly Mr Fan of Chemicals. But when you see a girl in a club, you can't tell if she has a nice personality can you? you can only go by what you see. Personality definatly comes first in my book, but obviously, it's very important to be attracted to them.

I don't know what preconcieved notions you have about american women iguana but lots of women arent running around with fake tits and such. I think the media sensationalizes this kinda stuff so much. It's one fad that the media is going through right now. talking about lypo, botox, tanning this and fake that and how the world is going to come to an end because of it.

It's honestly not that big of a deal. I mean sure I know lots of my friends who have color their hair or gone or go to tanning shops. But am I going to stop being friends with a really nice and enjoyable person just because they go tanning, No. I really don't see a problem with spray on tans. I mean I think it's a great alternative to using a cancer box. You get te desired color of what you skin would look like if you had been sunning. I've only had one friend who I think it looked good on.

but why do people feel they need to be tanned? I don't think I ever said don't be friends with tanned people.

I guess it depends where abouts you live in america, other places have more fake people than others. I guess it doesn't bother you and you don't mind a bit of plastique because that's the society you have been brought up in.

People want to be tan because they think they look better that way.

I live in texas which is tied with california for the state with _THE_ highest standards in physical appearance. Anyone who's been here knows what I'm talking about. Texas and California girls are nice. My sister goes to college in Oregon and says it's laughable in the difference between the importance of physical appearance. I honestly don't have a problem with spray on tans or high heels. A bit of philosophy i always use, If you don't agree with them, Don't join them. Just let fake people be fake and move on. Don't spend your time ranting on someone you don't like, it's a real waste.

Discussing it would be the way I would describe this. I like hearing different peoples opinions.
