I noticed that a while ago : in Shaun of the dead, there's a scene where the main heroes group crosses the way of their alter ego group. Everyone from the other group is a lookalike and has a name that matches the other one. The alter ego of Ed is Tom. In the movie and in Spaced there are posters of The Boutique, music by Fatboy Slim, stuff like that, and both take place in Brighton... So by any chance, would Edgar Wright be a big beat fan and made a reference to the Chemical Brothers ?

Did you spot Peter Jackson's cameo in Hot Fuzz though?
