In 1995 I believe it was, I was 12 yrs old, and I saw the video for "Elektrobank" on MTV. I found it a new and exciting type of music, however I did not get truly involved till the next year. When I was 13 I heard "Setting Sun." LoL Enough said. I bought "Surrender" as soon as it came out, along with just about every other album and LP there was. I'm a Chemie for life :-)

When I was 16 I found this really cool T-shirt which had this really cool font on it. It read The Chemical Brothers. I had heard some of their songs but had never really been into them. This was the turning point. I went out and bought Dig Your Own Hole and was spellbound by their madness. Being at High School no body really took any notice of them until I played thier CD at a party and everyone was hooked. I have fallen in love with there vision. They create brilliant music and top that off with amazing film clips, (Star Guitar is an all time fav of mine) The only bad thing about The Chemical Brothers is that I live in Australia and that they don't do many tours down here. I did however see them when they toured for The Big Day Out , They completley blew everyone else away. My hat goes off to you

One advantage of living in Australia is that you can get the rare Surrender 2cd set much cheaper than over here...........and you can probably find it in the first place :( .

Had to be around 1998 my brother and I started listening to Fatboy Slim and we liked the big beat sound so much that we decided to look for other similar sounds and the Chemical brothers were a natural progression in that sound, I fell in love with the usual ones Block rockin beats, and setting sun as time went by but my favourite will always be Private Psychedelic Reel. I LOVE THAT SONG! Surrender has to be my favourite full album to date, it's just good listenin
