Kasabian Announce The Departure Of Chris Karloff

Lead guitarist/keyboard player Chris Karloff and Kasabian have parted company.

Karloff and the band experienced certain creative and artistic differences during the writing and recording of their second album. These irreconcilable and diverging approaches resulted in the band asking Karloff to leave the group. Karloff will pursue a musical career elsewhere.

nah man, it won't come to that. Unless Russia and China seriously want to get into it with the United States, there won't be anything more than a limited nuclear exchange.

Really, a nuclear war in the mideast would only be good for the world, in the long run. The sweeping cloud of fallout over india and southeast asia would lead to massive cancer epidemics, which in turn would help cut the global population, which is desperately needed, and the elimination of 90% of the worlds oil would mean we'd be able to stop global warming in it's tracks.

yep, a little nuclear war would go a long way to making the world a better place.

i really hope that u were joking here stash...

heh, Whirly only wishes I was joking.

Seriously, the world is dangerously overpopulated, and about a billion people I don't know need to die in order to set it right.

I-10 Eastbound between Los Angeles and Palm Springs? Surreal stretch of Interstate, if you ask me. The wind generators are imposing, impressive, and trippy. Great place to set a music video, if you ask me.

It's also fire season here and camping/travelling is banned in parts of Eastern Manitoba due to fire fears. Although our fire season usually isn't as bad as that of SoCal.

( yeah i know quote from ages ago , i was trying to find Egils post about why he was going to aussie and i came across this )

Wooooow , i was watching the Choachella dvd and they are driving exactly there! It must be there cause it looks so amazing with the windmills.....how are the fires now , Whirly...?

And Egil , why where you going to Aussie again...?

I'm so excited , it's a new adventure and i am going with my friend Sofie. For 2 months!! OMFG!!!

The fires have dropped out of the news here pretty much, which means they are likely contained - but they are still going.

Those windmills are on the way to Coachella (ahhh, Coachella) up near Palm Springs. They are on the hillsides on one side of the freeway and there's fields of them on the other side of the road. They really are imposing!

You folks across the pond must be burning up! It's been really warm over there for you guys - I hope chemicalfan is staying cool and out of the heat!

It's been rather warm here but unusually humid. We'll always get a bit of humidity here and there, but it's been pretty constant the past 2 and a half weeks - the humidity makes it seem hotter than it really is, and we've been getting some thundershowers too. I fear for my electric bill, our air conditioning has been going non stop.

This guy saw the whole rotten mess coming 200 years ago.

http://en.wikipedia..../Thomas_Malthus

Overpopulation is a bigger problem than global warming, islamic terrorsim, global plagues of treatment resistant diseases or nuclear weapons.

Overpopulation is really the cause of every other problem in the world.

Think about it... too many people means too many cars, too many power plants, too much greenhouse gas. Too many people means not enough space, which means weapons and wars to fight over the dwindling resources. Too many people taking too many different antibiotics means super resistant strains of diseases.

A little nuclear war would go a long way.

Honestly, I could argue that THIS country needs to be nuked first, but hey, I live here. If I lived anywhere else, I'd be completely down with wiping the united states off the map.
