Tom... Ed... I'm dying over here. Are you going to come to Coachella?

I feel like you guys are an integral part of that festival, having been there three years with your live set and one year DJing, and I want to have an excuse to go again!

Will you be able to let us inquiring fanboys know a bit ahead of time whether or not you're going to make an appearance? Are those of us here in California going to be able to experience the awesome new tweaks to your live set?

It looks like Golden Voice are putting on a country music festival called StageCoach in early May, though. And it's going to be out on the Empire Polo grounds just like Coachella. I wonder if Coachella will be bumped to a different date seeing as that always happens at the end of April. It doesn't make much sense to hold 2 completely different multi-day fests back to back in the same venue (and who knows if the city of Indio would even want that).

Maybe the Chems will play the country music festival. Shake things up, Yeehaw!

Bosco - what's the word around the Coachella forums, rumors confirmations and otherwise?

The chems could just play Battle Scars for 1.5 hours at that country music fest... it's got a folk/country feel to it.

StageCoach, the country music festival happened last year, as well. Was the following weekend after the "original" Coachella festival.

The "original" Coachella dates are already planed for 2008 on the last weekend in april, 25th-27th.

As for rumors and conformations....

Prodigy were supposedly confirmed by their new record label's myspace

but just yesterday, there was a letter saying it was an error, and they are not confirmed for Coachella 2008....

So yeah, nothing is for certain right now, from what I know. Golden Voice has done a good job keeping next years lineup a secret, thus far.

But if Tom and Ed could drop us an early hint, that would be wonderful. Even though ill be there no matter what, it will give other people that are not from the Cali area to organize and get their money saved up to get out there.
