Kind of disappointed that they haven't remixed EBW10, but I'm looking forward to this nonetheless. Unfortunately, the 30 second preview doesn't give you a whole lot, so I don't know how excited I'm going to be to hear the full track. But, I mean, it's Hey Boy Hey Girl--even the bad remixes of this song are good.

Erol Alkan played this as his last song at Fujirock. The place went nutz. It didn't register that it was the soulwax mix though. I was expecting Midnight Madness.

1. some songs should never be remixed.

2. chemical brothers' songs should never be remixed unless the chems are doing it.

3. hey boy hey girl should/ cannot be mixed again - it's too legend.

having said that, though noisy n messy, i like this better than that crappy remix i heard in anil's set recently - that one was SHIT, except for the main chorus which was left untouched anyway.

This must have been the hardest remix they've ever done. It's like someone remixing 'Imagine' or something. Not sure what to make of it.

- For one Soulwax have done so many better mixes.

- It's not a bad remix, yet coz its Chems I feel obliged to be critical of anyone elses work.

The again I listen to both the preview and 2ManyDJs set, and I dont feel I heard enough of the filthyness. So i'm sitting on a fence really!

well if you wanna listen to the whole thing listen to pete tong show, he had the world exclusive play of it on his show tonight. even though justice played it on radio one 2 weeks ago!!. he also played Keep My Composure.

i think its one of the better chemical brothers remixes. i mean i've heard alot of hey boy hey girl remies that have been pretty turd. but this mix takes it a step further. still prefer the tim davidson remix though

i like the twisted keys towards the end before the chorus kicks in again. i'm still confused if to call this average or ok - guess i'll reserve my final comment till i hear cd quality - the ending is quite kickin i must say!

Does anyone know if this is gonna get a release in the UK? It looks like amazon.com (US) are selling it as a b-side to midnight madness, but I can't find anything in UK shops about it.

I'm not gonna listen to it until I have it on a disc. I'm already afraid seeing that it's a HBHG remix so it's gotta be in real good quality the first time.

bought it on iTunes. It's pretty good. It doesn't destroy the original track, but adds the soulwax touch, and a bit of punch !
