Never really got full on into Japanese animation, I just haven't seen enough of it. but I can appreciate the beauty and skill behind the artwork - as I see good quality Anime as fine art. I was awed by Ghost in the Shell, that scene with the rain in the city left my jaw dropped. Akira was great but hell if I know what the heck it was all about. Shintoism is way over my head, I guess I don't know enough about it to have "gotten" it. ;) Spirited Away was just lovely, a really good flick.



I've seen some sexually explicit Anime, just weird shit where a woman's privates turn into giant spider-like things - Demon City I think it was. Weird stuff, I can't remember for the life of me what that movie was about, but it, well, threw me for a loop... X-D

8O GOD THEY ARE SO BEAUTY, AND I THINK THE MANGA & ANIME IS GETTING MORE POPULAR EVERY DAY, ALSO THE HENTAI, LOOK TARANTINO HAVE ASEQUENCE IN KILL BILL, THE ANIMATRIX,SPIRITED AWAY (OSCAR WINNING), DAFT PUNK (THEIR VIDEOS), AND NOW T.A.T.U GIRLS IS GOING TO MAKE A MOVIE WITH THIS TYPE OF JAPANESE ANIMATION (TENTATIVE IN NOVEMBER 2004, AND THERE IS ASITE http://www.tatu-para....jp/index.html) FOR ME THIS IS VERY GOOD BECAUSE HERE IN MEXICO IN 1990-98 THERE ARE VERY DIFICULT TO SEE THIS ANIMATION, BUT NOW THERE IS IN MANY TV NET WORKS LIKE:

CARTOON NETWORK LATIN AMERICA, FOX KIDS L.AMERICA,TELEVISA,TV AZTECA.ETC.



BUT FOR OTHER SIDE THE ANIME IS SOME TIMES CENSURED, FOR EXAMPLE IN CARTOON NETWORK THEY PUT THE ANIME BLOCK AFTER

11:00 PM ALMOST 12:00 AM, IMAGINE BECAUSE THIS IS REALLY IMPOSIBLE TO VIEW THE SERIES THAT THEY PASS, I HAVE TO BUY AND BUY VIDEO CASSETES TO RECORD, I THINK THIS IS NOT FAIR.



I SUGGEST IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO SEE A ANIME SERIE OR A MANGA SEE IT, THEY HAVE A GREAT STORY (NOT ALL, BUT MANY) AND

FOR ME NOW IS A REALLY HOBBY TO VIEW THIS IN MY BORING TIMES.
